Hello everyone! Apologies that this one doesn’t reveal a huge amount of new information, I did this as an animation (tiny bit of animation at the start hehe) and voice acting practice and just for fun :] i hope it’s easy enough to follow and I hope everyone enjoys it! I do intend to make more !

What I do like about this compared to other AU's is that character personalities are kept in tact, and so are their capabilities. The timeline placement also makes this far more feasible and believable (no rainbow power, elements of harmony MIA?). RD only getting infected because of her ignorance toward the true severity of the situation was perfect. The M6 being at the epicenter of the infection also allows them to reasonably secure loved ones before things completely fall apart, preventing the typical contrived death of members when things first start going bad. There's some hope here, even if it's slim. Can't wait to see where this goes.

@@gulsum6084 I mean that there are several details that confirm my assumption, such as the fact that the school of friendship already exists, the Young six are part of the story, The crusades already have their mark, the changelings have been reformed, the pillars have been freed and evidently this is an alternative line of the beginning of the end, Season 9

At least we finally know all the CMC are safe, but the concept of an infected Celestia or Luna is terrifying. Luna especially, if she can still travel into ponies dreams, I can only imagine the psychological terror she’d inflict on everyone. Ponies too scared to sleep, slowly going insane until they’re hard to tell apart from the infected, or just too tired to run. All the possibilities.

Also, ponies amongst the survivors are all canon characters, even if some are almost unrecognisable because of the simplicity of their designs/they only appeared once Burnt Oak (the firewood sales pony, appears in the perfect pear) Davenport (Sofa’s and Quills pony) Shimmy Shake (cheerleader from the school of friendship, appears in 246 greeaat in s9) And Sweetie and Pip are there too (: if anybody was curious

Its weird how alot of these infection aus don't take advantage of characters having magic, think about how a unicorn being infected can still using their magic to capture other ponies or their magic having different properties when infected with the disease like changing colour, turning themselves invisible so they would have the jump on a healthy victim. You know stuff like that, making our main characters use their magic too would be interesting beacause they could get tired or too frazzled a situation where tons of zombie unicorns use their magic in unison to capture one the survivors.

for "unicorns/magic" they would not be able to use most magic as they would need to concentrate on a lot of spells and if its the brain that's infected it would be hard to think, but the horn still is a weapon used to deal damage and some might be able to use a bit of magic but it would be something close to a flickering light or sparks, "ponies" that can/could fly would find it harder and harder to take off or stay in the air and would crash over and over mangling there wings and bones but they would still be "fast/nimble", As for earth/strong working "ponies" they would be tuff to take down as well as heavy that works both way as it would be harder for the infected as they would have thicker skin from working as well as muscles/fat that might help hold off an infected area or possibly doors but they would be a nightmare to take down if found infected and the bodies could easily block doors trapping "ponies" inside

That would require use of their higher cognitive functions. Accidental magic is possible, but if their brain had been deteriorated by the infection, they wouldn't be able to intentionally use their magic, let alone use it strategically.

There exists a “sterilize” spell that you can use on wounds to Immediately stop an infection spread. However, it only works on small areas; if you get a huge injury, sterilizing it will end up killing you as well.

@@editoradoreddit I went back and watched The Beginning of The End episode and "Grogaur" (however his name is spelt), aka Discord did bring all of the villans together. Sombra didn't want to team up and believed he could easily take over the empire, so Discord sent him there to prove it, which lead to the events of this AU, only this time, it seems that Sombra killed Cadence which is where things deviate. Unless Discord sent all of the other villans back into captivity, they are still out and about.

That begs the question: Do Changelings in this universe have a hive-mind or are they at least mildly telepathic? If they are, and they could be zombiefied, then you have SMART zombies that can attack in swarms, and perhaps even still shapeshift to make themselves look like normal healthy ponies.

@Fruitytootsieroll I mean mlp fim is a anime so unironicaly she is alot of ponies waifuws rainbow dash dying unironically doesn't happen as much as this guy thinks she survived both apple sleep expierments rocket to insanity rocket to insanity fall of the apple family rocket to insanity dawn of the dying is open ended but celstia blast never stated piercing her head so she just fell in the snowy ditch probably survived reinfected or just insane even without the poison also apple sleep expierment she didn't die just knocked herself out and went on trial this pegasus where she then went on trial also she does die in alot of pinkie ones but she also survives alot of pinkie being the villain ones being the killer ones but she does die in two of the most notable ones nightmare on syrup street and and cupcakes but rainbow dash has killed pinkie alot more than pinkie has killed her or really any body else rainbow dash survived in the fanfic them well the other mane 6 were killed theirs also the slight details ones which is like a prequel to them and is pretty graphic and is a infection au where dashie is the only one remaining not infected and don't open the door being technically another infection au as the monster can fuck with your mind and stuff

This is honestly one of the best aus I’ve seen in a long time, the characters are accurate so much so that even when they said things like ‘maybe she’s just one some serious drugs’ it didn’t take me out of it or how dire the situation is. Also can I just say that the writing of the sun pausing at mid sunrise and it staying like that gave me chills. Excellent work, can’t wait for more!!

Tho if they never find each-other I’ll be sad because they are all a third of one whole. On the bright side, due to most ponies walking around naked all the time, it makes it real hard to hide bites, and anyone wearing clothing outside of Canterlot would be fishy unless it was cold. Even when it is cold, the most they usually wear is a scarf and hat.

I feel like there’s not enough credit for the voice acting ALL DONE BY THE CREATOR. You have such a wide variety and range of voices! You should consider being a voice actor with how easily you’re able to switch it up and portray emotion!

I like to think that Pinkie wasn't sitting there by a window or cracking a door to see Bonbon, but instead they just pointed her facing a closed front door and figured her Pinkie sense would connect the dots.
