This reminds me so much of when YJH has to spread KDJ’s story across multiple universes to get him back and the loneliness he must have felt, even though Biyoo was there. The pocket watch has been with YJH the whole time since KDJ gave it to him like reminding him of how time passes and how YJH misses KDJ so much. KDJ was like the star YJH tried to reach out for yet failed and couldn’t, KDJ was so close yet so far. I also saw the reflection on YJH’s astronaut suit and it looks like Morse code, I might try and crack it and come back with a translation though the boxes might actually just represent ■■ and I’m just overthinking things like normal haha. I just wanted to say that this made my day and that this animation was absolutely amazing and the art was beautiful

You know what hits me the most. Idk if I read or interpreted the novel wrong but we (the readers) are the ones that are reading this very story through a compilation diff ver. Of him that is gathered through the various characters in the last few chap so that this entire story could happen, because he exists in every part of everyone who'd encountered him, diff ver. of him is formed which makes dokja 'him', what we read can be said that it wasn't really him but it was him at the same time. We the readers desired for his return as the complete ending and therefore filling the incomplete story of the novel. Even after finishing the story we cannot truly comprehend nor be him even though it was technically from his POV. It's 3am and I'm crying

I love it! I haven't finished ORV since I'm too nervous and I'm on ch.206(I think) but I really liked this. I have some idea with what's going on since I don't really mind spoilers but I am a bit clueless. I'll come back to this video when I finish. It's probably going to take 2 years because sometimes I get too nervous when I read and have a difficult time breathing when that happens so I have to really calm down just so I'll be able to continue reading which can take 8 months sometimes. lol

Spoilers: In world 0, Yoo Joonghyuk (black coat) has reach happy Ending but choose to regress his life so many times just to meet that his sponsor (Kim dokja/white coat)this is so sad because Yoo Joonghyuk forget the reason why he regress his life and even though he meets Kim dokja, both of them does not know the truth about world 0 because it is not their timeline yet. When Yoo Joonghyuk remember what he has forgotten, he realizes that the sponsor that he's dying to meet is Kim dokja the entire time but it was too late as Kim dokja decided to sacrifice himself again to keep the world going by scattering himself to different worlds. On the other hand.. they also found each other. Past Yoo Joonghyuk ( secret plotter) has meet with his sponsor, the child version of Kim dokja/ oldest dream. So yeah.. one pair separates, the other one stays with each other. I think in this one, secret plotter stays with oldest dream in same house so that he can take care of child version of Kim dokja so that Kim dokja can have a better childhood compared to the adult Kim dokja.

Today I finally able to finish the novel while listening to this song and damn it hits hard, because as I was reading I was remembering bits of this beautiful video, specially the Morse part, with every “I love you” as a lonely YJH drift apart in space reading the story of his only reader. At least he got some help and his loneliness was cut down a bit with little Biyoo by his side. But seriously I cried a lot to the point I got a big headache and went to sleep with tears on my eyes, still listening to this song and imagining this lonely astronaut *sighs* Also I think now I understand KDJ’s mom words. I think I’m going to reread the novel and perhaps write a different ending. After all I’m both, a reader and writer, one with a big imagination and desires to give happy endings to my favorite characters.

The comment you left and it;s reply: there's a difference between assuming a concept and building reasons for it which is wrong and basing your judgement following the concept and ending with a conclusion. With the buildup of the story and actual aim of it there's no way it's bad , I get it there are some novels with open ending depending upon the reader(some manga's with no text ) but ORV is specifically a story which ended with a journey .
