Dear Schnell, You introduced me to Iranian singer Mohsan Yeganeh 5 months ago and now to Sirvan Khosrevi. Their talent is eye opening. Thank you so much! I like to return the favor by telling you what I just discover: another fabulous Persian singer Minoram who just released her cover of Angelina Jordan's Million Miles. When I look more into Minoram, she turns out to sing jazz and opera beautifully as well. Her rendition of Sirvan Khosrevi's iconic song Tanha nazer is incredible. Though I am a die hard Angelina Jordan fan I have to admit Minoram's talent could give Angelina a run for the money. IMHO! Please, please check her out.

I just read your reply. I agree with everything you said particularly about Minoram. She is something really special. This song of Sirvan's has become even more poignant in view of the events of the last few months, and the deepening of the living crisis in Iran for the majority of Iranians. Prophetic is not the word. Keep safe and well.

Schnell many thanks for your reaction. Reading the lyrics gives some insight to how people in Iran view their lives. I am not well educated about life in Iran but have to believe they face the same struggles most of us do. Seemed to have a lot of despair. The music, especially at the start of the song sounded very familiar to me and I can't place which song it reminded me of. Maybe a Jefferson Starship song?

This is new to me, but i also like the stage presence and the lyrics along with the great music beat. The lyrics are second to none , all about love and relationships and life. He is a great performer, and his voice resonates the emotion of the song.

He is the best Iranian singer and musician; he is a great multi-instrumentalist who produces the whole song by himself usually; expect the lyrics; his brother, Xaniar, and Hadi Zinati are his songwriters. His band’s musicians are also the greatest in Iran.
