Thank you for this tutorial, I think I’m finally ready to try out screen printing with your new press and platen bundle and the Romeo. I’ve been using heat transfers as a way to get started but have been wanting to get started with old school screen printing. Using your vinyl method is ingenious and is more approachable for me vs. having to burn screens. I’m thinking of starting with bandanas. Thanks again! 😊

I have my Romeo on 2 Alex drawer systems but that blue color. I love them and actually have 7 of them. I actually have a 24 inch trimmer that resides in front of the Romeo to allow me to trim while the roll is in place. It still fits on the Alex drawer. Look forward to more of your videos.

How durable is a blade that comes with it ? I am going to cut 2-3 mm acrylic sheets. What is the amount of work this blade can handle before you need to replace it?

I use it to cut lots vinyl and haven’t ever needed to replace it. I haven’t tried cutting acrylic sheets though.

It is designed to cut vinyl but it can cut other thin materials like cardstock, stickers, and craft foam/felt

Is the software able to give you thin outlines on images, and how accurate can it cut around a contour? Thanks

Yes, you can use the “build contour” tool to add an offset. The machine is really accurate, even with small cuts. If you are interested in trying it out- Siser is offering a free trial of Leonardo Design Studio Pro through September 30, 2023.
