Their skin is usually better in the first place because of genetics and the fact that their skincare industry is top-notch. Whereas when typical american makeup meets blemishes, foundation and concealer are caked on in an effort to hide it, when it only ends up looking worse.

@@oliviaswindler7258 Ah yes, their skin is better because of superior genetics. The comments k-boos write are truly hilarious. More like S-Korea places self care and skin care on a higher importance than most. There are Asians with acne, regardless of genetics, diet, and skin care just like everyone else. Will they get showcased as a model on a makeup channel? Most likely not.

I didn’t mean to ruffle your feathers. I didn’t think that would be considered ignorant or offensive. I think you misunderstood my intention with that comment. I in no way romanticize Korea. I am not an expert on their genetics, or their culture, or the country in general. I really don’t know much more than the average person and I never claimed otherwise. I’ve heard many people say that Asian people tend to have very “poreless” skin. This doesn’t mean that they all have perfect skin or that they have superior genetics. I’ve also heard and observed that skincare is a somewhat prominent part of Korean culture and people there typically start taking care of their skin from a younger age. That’s all I meant to say.

A few thoughts: 1. She got a pair of obedient lashes. Without curling and it stayed up like that. WHOA. :) 2. Korean makeup always amaze me. Who would've thought that with several cute or what looked like an effortless look can also be very intricate with loads of back and forth dipping and different shades? 3. You got me subbing on this channel without a blink. hehehe. SO BEAUTIFUL and BEAUTIFULLY DONE! :)

She looks beautiful in both before and after shots. To be honest , her skin and face is extremely pretty. So she would look pretty in anything- bare, minimum or full make up. Whatever they do. Its impossible for girls like us who are not pretty and don't like heavy make up.

Depends, you might not fit the traditional beauty standards, but healthy people always look good. So if you approach makeup as a way make you look healthier, it might be a better approach. Of course you should put effort into actually being healthy; eating good, sleeping good, having a gentle skincare routine, being happy/light-hearted or getting therapy if you need it, having fun. Makeup can help cover signs of health issues (like using concealer instead of sleeping) but you will look better when you are healthy, even if you aren't pretty by the media's standards, you will look your best.

정샘물 제품으로 메이크업 영상 많이 올려 주세요. 구입하고 싶지만 너무 많은품목과 사용법을 잘 몰라서 결국 내가 쓰던 기존브랜드로 구입하게 되네요. 홈페이지에 가 봤는데 너무 많아서^ ^ 특히 베스트 사용법을 영상으로 캐치하고 싶어요. 여러단계의 아주 정교한 화장도 중요하지만 데일리로 간단하게 화장을 하고 싶은데 제품라인이 너무 길어도 .. 망설여 지게 되요.

I just was so shocked in using concealer under her eyes. As I've seen in American makeup they use a chunk of concealer under the eyes which is way lighter than their skin. But somehow I think they can pull of that heavy makeup, Idk how it will look on this Korean model's face. 🤔 And don't forget to use light brown contact lenses to make the iris bigger. 😍

Can anyone recommend a Korean makeup tutorial for double lid hooded & protruding eyes? I’ve been looking for a long time, but haven’t been able to find any. The model in this video is the closest I have found. Usually the Korean/KPop makeup tutorials I’ve seen, show how to make eyes appear bigger or more open, which has the opposite affect of what I want. HELP! 😭😭😭

Use eyeshadow. I have the same problem. If you do use eyeliner, use a blackish brownish one (and very little of it until you're more comfortable), on lash line on the lid and soften the line with eyeshadow. This will make your lashes look fuller with no mascara (or you can just use eyeshadow). If this is your first time using eyeshadow, start with eyeshadows that comes in sets of 4's or 5's to help you get the hang of blending eye makeup. Dark eyeshadow colors will make your eyelid not protrude as much, while light ones might make your eyelid protrude more. If you want to use mascara (or you feel like you need to use it), gently curl your lashes first if you need to and apply a BLACK-BROWN mascara that doesn't clump or flake or smudge on your lashes. This way, your make up doesn't look too dark or harsh. Hope this helps.
