Sistema To Go Bento Box Review - an easy way to pack lunch!

Last year when we started homeschooling and needed to pack lunch at least once a week I went searching for an easier way to pack lunches for all of us. I researched a bunch of bento box containers and finally decided to try the Sistema brand bento lunch box. Here's my review after a year of using them!

I just bought my first Bento box from five below. They had grey or navy blue and I got navy blue. It’s by the brand Room 2 Room. It comes with a sauce container, a white fork and two different compartments then a divider for the smaller top compartment. I haven’t used it yet. But I wanted a bento box for my meals at work.

We use yumbox and the bentgo kids. If you want bigger ones try yumbox tapas and bentgo fresh. Both of those are for older kids and adults. They are expensive but not as much as a planet box. If taken care of, they last for years. Sisters will not hold up for years.

I got one of those cause one of my friends had one. I liked it so much my mom got my brother and sister ones too. I got mine from staples (Canada) And its really nice

I have a planet box from Costco. I like it but my son loves to eat a lot so feel like my sistema definitely gives him more options of food to eat. I use both

No, not spillproof. Thicker things would probably be ok but liquids would cross over into other parts of the container.

You made this a year ago, so are you using something different as a cooler bag now? I too am a homeschool mom and need to carry 4 of these exact sistema containers to park play dates and will need a bag. Thank you for this video!

I’m not really using these anymore. There’s now 5 of us I’m packing for so switching to one large container that we can all share is what I do most of the time. I use these occasionally but not as much as I used to.

@@MyChocolateMoments That makes me think of a meme I saw recently of a "snacklebox" (using a small parts tacklebox as a huge snack box.) 😆 Are you just using basic tupperware type containers now?

And I recently got these. I’ve been using them for fruit & veggie trays at home but I think they’d also be perfect for packing lunch for us all too and they’re quite a bit cheaper than the other one I have. amzn.to/3SjIuGg

I’ve been using these too - for my big kids they’re good if we’ll just need a snack but doesn’t hold enough for them for lunch. For my younger ones it’s plenty for a meal. They’re a lot smaller than the Sistema ones amzn.to/3ORvx3I

It does not. You could probably take it off but I’m afraid that might break it, it’s not made to be removed.

We still use it some. I hate washing it so that prevents me using it as often as I would otherwise. I haven’t switched to a different bento box, I just often pack for all of us in one large container now.
