As good as Bang was as Dracula (and he was excellent), Sister Agatha was a breakthrough character -- really added something special to the production!

I'm so glad someone added something of her. To me the show was epic thanks to her and Dracula. Their dynamic is what made the show. I just wish they would have stuck to the past. Episode 3 to me was rushed and weird. The creators are better than that (Sherlock). It could have been an amazing period series. (So Sad.)

I just kinda wished the other nuns had put up more of a fight. Agatha talks about how they're all there cause they are strong women, I would have liked to see them try to stop Dracula before the wolves attacked. Purposely giving Agatha time to get Mina to safety instead of just accidentally preoccupying him.

I wish this show had 10 episodes with every detail. I don’t mind the modern era, I just wish it would have been with long snapshots of the past.

The only reason I watched this show on NETFLIX was because of the character "Sister Agatha Van Helsing" This woman was amazing! This amazing actress was the reason we watched episode #2 and #3. In my opinipn #3 kinda sucked...but #1 and #2 were amazing!

I've never seen a n entire fandom all have the exact same opinion. Everyone hated episode 3 (I personally like the last speech but that's just my catholic side speaking) but its interesting seeing everyone, and I mean EVERYONE hate the last episode

@@Black_pearl_adrift Yes, disappontng after the brilliance of Ep2 - I loved the start, with Dracula coming out of the sea to a reception committee (not wholly welcoming...) which was a great setup but it all started to drag soon after. Even now years later I remembeer the episode seemed much much longer than it really was. The whole Lucy sequence seemed wrong and long.

Claes Bang is good but Sister Agatha (and the actress) is the one that made the show amazing. Dracula had no redeemable traits (at times one dimensional, even) but Sister Agatha's character and fascination with Dracula brought forth my attraction to Dracula. The show wouldn't have work as much without Sister Agatha's compelling character, in my opinion.

Dolly Wells' turn as Agatha was just brilliant from start to finish, a character of depth and substance and enormous charm. Ep 2 of DRACULA was absolutely gripping entirely because of her, and was an extraordinary piece of television. When it finished I said "What we want to see now is 'The Previous Adventures of Agatha van Helsing'" That's a backstory I'd pay good money to watch so long as Dolly Wells played Agatha and it was written by Gatiss and Moffat.

Because of Sister Agatha this show was amazing. I loved all the little and long interactions between Dracula and Sister Agatha. From their very first scene in the show they was ALOT of Sexual Tension and Chemistry. Honestly wished they kept the 3rd episode in the past, it was better that way. I loved Dracula, but Sister Agatha was my favorite character she is such a fascinating, well developed character with goals. Part of me hopes that there will someday be a second season to the show with both Dracula and Sister Agatha. It won’t be good without her.

I wish the ending wasn’t so disappointing. The moment you put Dracula in modern day, it was ruined. I had a flicker of hope that they’ll attempt a modern retelling of an original novel (what with Lucy and Jack).

Why notut him in a modern world? He IS immortal, after all. I liked his reaction to all the new things he experienced and how his intelligence , as well as his ability to absorb know.edge through his victim's blood, allowed him to adapt quickly. Ep.3 also left an opening for a new season.

That's a remarkable amount of focus on her ~atheism given that she finds her faith in God again, like, halfway through the first episode and keeps it. ...so clearly you should make a SECOND video, with all DIFF i'll stop xD

I watched the first episode - what an atrocity! The only redeeming quality was the character of Sister Agatha. She's the only reason I didn't turn it off after 10 minutes, and yet not enough for me to continue with the rest. Shame.
