Lol she wasn't, herself, a deity, bruh. Lady ran out on her second husband and kids in order to start her ministry. Set up shop on the opposite end of the country. Almost certainly faked her own kidnapping to embark on a lover's tryst with a married man. Multiple eyewitnesses undercut her fantastical allegations--meaning she likely lied under oath. A flawed messenger doesn't necessarily blemish the message. I'm pretty sure there's a proverb in the Old Testament meant to convey as much.

This was a horrible movie, and no she wasn't bi. What's bad about this is it misrepresents history and the subject for the benefit of writers/director. When there are actual historical gay or lesbian figures to tell stories about, this team choose to fictionalize/sensationalize someone else. This isn't clever story telling, just a waste of time, money, and opportunity.
