@@Vertical_casey It's basically an American festive holiday where families get together and give thanks for everything good in their lives. It stems from the early 17th century when Pilgrims spent a long brutal journey sailing to America on a ship called The Mayflower. Though there were terrible storms and terrible illnesses, they able to make it to their destination and settled there. However it didn't become a national holiday until 1862 under US president Abraham Lincoln.
