I went through it too! Don't fret, your beautiful, your locks are beautiful, your grid is poppin. Wish mine looked like yours, but I did mine myself Jan 27 2020 loc date. And now my hair is so full, granted it's not as long because my ends are curly like I have the bombest wash n go, alot of people think that's what it is until they get close or I bless them and allow them to touch one! Lol Trust the process like you said I told myself the same, find a cute style and rock out sus!😎😁

Alot of people think this but dont say it. Everytime you wash your hair it's going to be changing, especially after that first wash. 3 to 6 months you'll be looking back at this and be like I was trippn.

I teared up watching your vid. My establishment is this coming weekend, and i’m so nervous and doubtful looking at my tester locks. My hair is a similar texture to yours but only 4-6”. I’m excited but scared to death at the same time. Your hair looks beautiful to me...I hope mine comes out as nice as yours did.

Yes, you must trust the process. On instillation day, I was just like you; my locs were sooo thin and stringy...5 months later was like night and day. Your locs will continue to evolve and you’ll grow to love them. One thing though, don’t use products on your locs & trust me when I say, only use sisterloc shampoo for the first year...

That gray is going to be sexy as hell. I only have a few strains and cannot wait for the rest to grow in. This is soooo difficult for you because you've chosen (probably for the first time) to embrace "your hair" as it was meant to be OR like you've (we've) been programmed into believing it shpuld be. I love that mantra, "Trust the process". That says it all.

Thanks for sharing. Your video was helpful. I'm in the process of finding a consultant to do my sisterlocks. I've been natural for several years but I've been wearing weaves and crochets mostly. I'm used to big/long hair too. I want to get sisterlocks but I know it will be a journey - from short hair until it grows longer. Hang in there sis. I'm sure it will be worth it all in the end.

I have low density hair too. At first I thought I looked crazy thin (too scalpy) and wore a hat most of the time. I was so used to my curls making up for the lack of density BUT in about two months my hair plumped up frfr. Now, two years in, I think it's too full....I know wth, right? Trust me, it looks great and will be even greater. 👍👍👍

My sisterlocks looked about the same right after my installation. I have thin edges and a lot go gray hair. You're exactly right trust the process and you will fall in love soon enough. They're going to change. Thanks for being honest and sharing

Omg, you're like a mirror reflection of myself, I swear. I'm established 3/20 with low density hair. I'm still going through it wondering if I did the right thing. We keep hearing trust the process but with that comes patience. We will be good girl and will eventually really love our hair. I tend to like my hair better with bantu knot outs so u may wanna try that. Use this quarantine time to get to know your new hair. After your 1st wash it will look different and the curls will form on your ends. Best of luck on your journey, be patient, and trust the process.❤

You Sisterlocks are going to mature naturally. Since this is new for you, don’t put mousses and oils on it. Get some rose water and moisturize your hair with that for at least the first twelve weeks.

I'm Not 100% Sure... My Daily Regimen Is A Little Mist w/ My Water Bottle. Inside Water Bottle Is Tea Tree & Peppermint Oil. And A Little Product On My Edges. I Believe Maybe Steam From The Shower And/Or My Baths.

What's the mental confusion about making an obvious choice you chose? This video is moving too slow and uninteresting. You would scare anyone from getting sisterlocks. You're doing the brand a disservice, whereas we want to attract our black sisters and brothers to embrace our course hair of natural locs and natural coiled hair of beauty. You're on this platform tearing up and that's not a good look for the public to see and especially for the sisterlock brand... Please adopt a more bubbly and heighten attitude about your video personality to attract viewers. Yikes!

Juanita, This comment makes no sense sis. This is not for show. I thought the video showcased HER EMOTIONS and gave an authentic experience that many viewers shared. I have enjoyed watching you in this process this is exactly what folks needed to see She is not trying to persuade anyone decision to get sister locks. If women have this experience, they will know it's normal and they can be empowered to stay the course. (#trusttheprocess) Going natural for me was scary af but videos like these helped me see the beauty in my hair and know that is just another part of my journey.
