Ok so I am two and a half months locked and instead of the apple cider vinegar for itch I use a blend of essential oils in a spray bottle mixed with distilled water. From the first time I used it, it worked. I use it as a prep before I shampoo my hair. If you would like to try it this is the combination: use a bout 1/4 cup to 1/5 cup distilled water, and 1 to 2 drops each of lavender, rosemary, wintergreen, orange oil, pepperment, cedarwood, tea tree

Some oils are okay. I’m using a peppermint and tea tree oil blend in witch hazel, I also added a small amount of jojoba oil...that oil is in the Sisterlocks conditioning spray. I’m only targeting the scalp, spraying the roots in sections, a light misting, not saturating. So that is working really well and your hair doesn’t smell, the smell doesn’t linger. No more itching, no more flakes! For apple cider vinegar get Bragg’s! It’s the natural version. It does heal the scalp but not something you can use everyday. You are beautiful by the way and would love to hear what a pimple patch is. I scar very easily.

Acv saved my life. I spray my mixture on my scalp at night before bed. I do not wash it out

I am thinking about using the sulfer 8 spray for my sisterlocks once this process starts (something you don't have to washout). I use it for my braids and it's amazing! Haven't talked to my consultant about it yet as i haven't gotten mine established. I'm just thinking about the future. Lol. Cantu also has an excellent ACV and tea tree mix that i ise with braids as well. Another sisterlocked youtuber suggested using less fatty oils like tea tree if you do want to use oils.

Informative vlog...thanks so much! I will be doing this! My scalp has been quite disrespectful, especially since this last reti, so I have been experiencing itchy scalp as well. With the seasons changing, it could very well be trying to adapt to the change in temperature as well. Thanks for sharing! 🤗🙂

I spray my scalp with my apple.cider vinegar water mixture on my scalp at night before bed. Now that I have my starter microlocs, I'll be washing my hair every week or very 2 weeks and applying my mixture on my scalp nightly

I just use Ohhh! oil. Its very light; doesn't disturb the locks and the scalp is stimulated and moisturized.
