Great overview! Microlocks can also be started with the interlock method. Microlocks started with the interlocking method are very similar in appearance to Sisterlocks from the start. I had microlocks started with two strand twist first, and now I have Sisterlocks 💕

@@BritHawkins The main difference so far has been the lack of volume initially. I lost my microlocks to chemo and I decided to go Sisterlocks this go round for the grid and more uniform look 💕

It seemed as though sisterlocs are better than microlocs based on the interlocking method. I would love to do just one hidden sisterloc to see how it grows on its own. I just love how they look. Thanks for the breakdown!

I've never had locks but am on a journey of no longer dying my hair to cover gray bits. Two yrs in and salt & pepper is looking good with a tinted or sheer gloss shine applied occasionally.
