We leave Rome with one of the best plans in the Italian capital, visiting the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel of Michelangelo, one of the most visited places in the world.
We begin the video showing you our last accommodation option in the city, the Hotel Continentale, very close to the Termini train station in the center of Rome.
We then go to the Vatican Museums, where we will tell you how to avoid the lines and what to see in the Museums, starting with the Pio Clementino Museum, the Egyptian Gallery and the Rotonda Room. Then we will show you our favorite part of the museums, the Gallery of the Geographic Chart or the Hall of Maps, a beautiful room decorated with gold and beautiful murals and works of art.
We continue with Raphael’s Rooms, very impressive halls painted by the famous artist that helped him to be just as important as Michelangelo; Tehse Rooms are a must if you are in the museums.
Then we will show you the interior of the Sistine Chapel and we will tell you a little about its creation and the importance it has. Once outside the museum, we will give you our opinions about the Chapel, as well some tips and advice to visit it.
Then we will give you a short tour of Piazza del Popolo, one of the most important squares of the city, in which we will show you the twin churches and the Flaminio obelisk.
Later we will go to eat some sandwiches at My Bags - Baguetteria Roma, a nice little inexpensive place where we had beer and ate very well.
Finally we will give you a tour of Villa Borghese, the Roman Central Park, a huge park in the middle of the city, an ideal place to take photos and rest from the busy Rome.

ABOUT US
Hello! I'm Carlos, graphic designer and publicist born in Medellín, Colombia in 1987. I love videogames, series, movies, and of course, to travel. I like to visit historical places, full of mysticism (like me) and learn everything that I can about it.
And I'm Elizabeth, but you can call me Eli (everyone does it!). I am a publicist, born in Medellín, Colombia in 1988, passionate about travel, fashion and Spanish pop. I love to try new foods and learn about the different cultures in the world. Traveling is the perfect way to do it!
We are married since 2014 and live in the City of Eternal Spring, Medellin! We want to show you parts of our trips and experiences to encourage you to travel and fulfill your traveler’s dreams, so pack your bags!
