Honestly, although this show had not as much reality to the Valmiki or Kalidas Ramayans, I think they still did a pretty good job. They really showed things nice. But they still focused too much Sita, and too less on Sri Ram and Hanuman.

Honestly I would personally say that Sita is the most amazing woman that our current cycle of yugas has ever seen. Treta Yuga is the yuga which honestly produced the best kind of women ever. We have Rhenuka who always kept her mind only on her man, and even when he was doing an injustice to her when she did nothing wrong, she accepted death at the hands of her own son, because that is what her husband had wished. She is the same woman who patted her breast 21 times when she saw the severed body of her husband, the same man who literally did so much wrong to her. I feel so bad for her, no one ever talks of her. We also have Sita, the woman who endured all the pain in the world, and even accepted a test of chastity in pyre, and also a second exile in the forest to raise her sons alone for her husband Sri Ram. And finally we have, Mandodari, the wife of Ravan whom, despite knowing that her man has gotten a lot of moral issues and adharma in him, still always stood by his side and wanted always what is best for him. And when he died wanted to burn herself in his fire. Treta Yuga women had a great virtue over all called tolerance, love and devotion. A virtue which many of the women in today's dark age of Kali Yug, do not even understand the meaning of. Kali Yuga beginning - Now starts the great collapse, although women are still pretty good and compassionate, as well as pure and proper in this period, but men start to get a little unholy and cruel, so unruliness starts to grow day by day into women's hearts, and their shyness slowly ceases to exist. Although things are not that bad, and women still choose to follow and obey men, things are still taking a turn for wrongness. Kali Yuga 5100 years in, which actually started with year 1998 - Women start acting all bossy, nagging, idiotic and queasy. The 21st century introduced us to women who like to act completely idiotic and gross. Girls the age of 13 years old start going onto Tik Tok, and start dancing and acting like prostitutes and weirdos. Women start dominating their husbands, stop loving them, and began to love the family dogs and cats over them. They start insulting their husbands like crazy, and always complain about them. They are just unruly and wrong in this age of time. Over all they all get degraded. By this time, women start looking as well as acting, very ugly, disgusting and stupid. They become arrogant and spoiled brats who want to make their husbands get pushed into dirt. They also begin to look very fat and have lots of unattractive features on them. Women began to make themselves by choice look very obese and like to embrace it. In this period, naggingness, looking like a monster with rings all over your face, controlling your husband and always complaining about him, being a prostitute and looking naked on tik tok for just getting likes and being loved, all the way from age 13, being fat, making men barf, loving your pets more than you do the same man whom women in previous ages of time viewed as an incarnation of God, blind feminazism, changing your sex, being lesbian and marrying women( and for men being gay and marrying men), being an atheist and forgetting God, as well as being a vegan twerk with nose rings, and all such bad habits which we can only be proud of in a time like this, is what is seen as power in a woman during this age and time. Kali Yuga in the Black age or Krisha kal and beyond - Women shall continue acting like men. And mothers shall purposely try to feed their sons poison instead of breastmilk, just to make them die due to such fierce hatred of men. He loved her a lot. Actually, wives are treated with equal importance as husbands. If we read Ramayan, we realise that there is a ritual where husband will bow to the feet of the wife. Have you heard of toe rings? It actually symbolizes husband bestowing the honour and responsibility of his clan to his to be wife. If husband is treated like God, even wife is treated as goddess; no one would give the honour of his clan to a woman just because she came to his family - she's the wife! It is a husband's duty to take care of his wife and love her and treate her like his queen and protect her like his child, thats why, for a wife, it is said that her husband is Patideva - who gives her every privilege like a parent, and immense love like a ratibandhu. Not because India was patriarchal - that is nonsensical to tell that. And if men do so much for their wives, the wives too, have their own responsibilities which you've beautifully mentioned. Kausalya too, is shown concerned for Sita, and asks one of the messengers whether her son is taking good care of her daughter in law. There are indeed some scenes made on the name of creative liberties but I liked the way that someone has tried to give sita a perspective .. were shown Mata Hari vachaknavi , though I completely deny the way and the debates they have shown us , they are very shallow but atleast somebody has tried ... And for now it's quite better where we get nagin in the names of women empowerment ... I loved where Shanta ji was introduced...
