My favorite crazy theory is that solaire became the sun of Elden Ring. Miyazaki did have this weird quote: he links the flame in his own world and dies by becoming the Sun

I think the grace is a subtle nod but I also believe that the lore of Elden Ring is unique to its world and doesn't tie into other games. Although many of the same devs worked on Elden Ring and dark souls so the same ideas transfer over. I find it more strange that when you touch a site of grace there appears to be a second grace there. There's probably a connection with the second graces and us as the tarnished

I think it's more like the God of War universe The lands btwn are exactly that, the lands in btwn different worlds , each with their own lore etcetc And the lands btwn are a big mix of it all That's why there are samurai, and some bloodeborne shit, and some dark souls shit

The twin bird shield is 100% a link to the witch of izalith the reapers/scythes were always liked to the witch of izalith also as she has 2 hands of flame that are actually scythe like claws. Plus she has a physical head and body and a flame spirit. She is the mother of the flame of chaos also So many dark souls connections

They say it's not connected but I just don't believe it. Too many similarities and connections that scream darksouls. But from what I have been told they said it was a separate word....maybe it's the lands between all the other games?

@@mr.nobodyeldensouls yeah I've always spotted connections, I also spotted a connection with Ciaran from dark souls 1 and the numen race. Also I thought for a while that Ciaran and Marika and artorias and radagon are parallel stories in a way maybe rebirth/recycled souls. Ciaran talks about how artorias is her other half. History always finds a way to repeat itself each game is a cycle and there is always a Ragnarok moment. Like how dark souls land was flooded by the abyss like the biblical flood every religion in our world has a flood myth. the land of shadow is like the land of drangleic.

I'm hoping that at some point they'll make a dark souls sequel that will be in the age of deep waters as read in some chapel of the deep lore descriptions. A Pirate-esque sailing and fighting souls game would be right up my alley.
