Sitka St LT and XT Kayak Comparison

This week we meet up with Dave and Jess at the Kayak Connection in Santa Cruz Ca. We took a shop tour, and then hit the water to test out the entire range of Eddyline Sitkas out of Santa Cruz Harbor and Monterey Bay. On day two we trek down to Moss Landing to paddle with Dave at his location on Elkhorn Slough. We paddled with Otters, seals, and tons of birdlife.

Learned to Windsurf in Elkhorn slough in the late 70s. Got to paddle it one day.

Hey man! Looking for a new fishing kayak that has alot of flat deck space and is stable with a nice paddle but can't find something that's fits me, any recommendations?

Yes I’ve paddled it out the Golden Gate a few times. Just avoid rocks in those bouncy conditions.

This was on my list, and I finally did it but I was in an 8’ SunDolphin w/footpegs😂 needless to say, that’s when I decided I needed a “real” kayak with tracking - got the Eddyline Sandpiper cuz I lived in CO & pandemic EE helped me get it then I moved to OR ocean! Now in PT with a S14 Stellar DA helped me get… now I have to go back after watching this!! ❤️🦭🦦
