Hey Elden wow congratulations on the channel growth! I remember when I subscribed you were at like a 150. I lost track of you For a while when the name changed from Cars and coasters. Awesome video nice to get to see a park I haven't had a chance to get to yet. Also glad to hear you've been getting out West and enjoying the so-cal parks as well. !

@occoastersandthemeparks4910 heeeey! Thanks!! Yeah, you really have been around for awhile. We've come a long way! Yes, I'll always be cars and Coasters. I think once I changed the name, youtube changed my algorithm or something because like you said, it's had a lot of growth! I can't wait to visit So Cal parks again. Hopefully next month! 😁 Thanks again!

Use to go when I was younger. Now I like to go places less crowded. Still a very fun place.

Wow they took out the rest of those slides too...Lots of changes there, my last visit the speed slides were still there and they still had the lily pad course by the Tornado slide. Definitely remember the 1997 accident. I was on my 6th grade field trip at Great America when it happened.

Yeah! That was a crazy time. I remember it being all over the news. For awhile there, the water park wouldn't allow schools to come to the park anymore because of the incident.

Yes it was Waterworld lol. Man, I basically lived there as a kid and it was such a great day whenever I got to go! I went as an adult for the last time back in 2018 so I experienced a couple of the slides that were new then and my favorite ended up being the funnel blue/yellow one 😂. Nothing beats the wave pool and the lazy river though. ..... I must say that for a male you are pretty brave to go recording at a children's water park..... but the last time I went I saw a mom wearing a thong in the toddler pond, soooooo i guess its not that bad 😅😂 lol

They put me on big kahuna when I was with my friend back in the 5th grade and they merged us with these 3 somoan guys who were 400 pounds plus and it was terrifying lol we almost went over the edge it felt like lol

Is it still free with our SFDK Platinum passes? I read somewhere that only the highest tier Six Flags pass gets to access this and the rest of the parks in the US

Yeah, the highest tier and the one below it gets you into the water park. The diamond and platinum pass.

Discovery Kingdom doesnt have the mexican restaurant anymore. Just burgers pizza tenders and wings. really cheaped out and went to shit
