We literally flew out to Los Angeles for 26 hours so that we could go to Six Flags for our first ever visit. This video was then hurrily edited on the flight home. Enjoy.

I really like this park just as much as cedar point there depth is unbelievable and Tatsu and X2 is a great top 2. They don’t have the tallest and fastest coasters but they are the most intense. I stayed at the Hilton next door to the park I’ll always stay there.

This park was one of my top bucket list parks, but after watching your reactions to the rides, it's more toward the bottom of my bucket list. I appreciate your honest opinions!

It's definitely a park to visit. Full Throttle is an incredibly forceful ride, Twisted Colossus is great when you are dueling, and Goliath is what I wanted it to be. I found their B&M lineup to be rather weak, but their lineup of unique coasters make up for it. We didn't enjoy X2, but it was such a bucket list coaster for me that I'm glad I finally got to ride it. It's a shame that West Coast Racers wasn't finished at that time, therefore Apocalypse was closed. Found out it opened 2 days after we were there, figures. haha. Because of how far the park is to our location, we won't make our way out there again anytime soon, but we will definitely visit again if we find ourselves in LA again.

Since I live in northern Ohio (near Cedar point), I would have to make it a 4-5 day vacation if I flew to LA and would have to hit up Knott's Berry while I'm there.

@@chrisbender8714 Oh absolutely! We found cheap airfare that needed to be used on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Now we would have taken a week but were only able to take 2 days off and we have SF membership passes, so we chose a day trip to Magic mountain. Next time we will for sure go for Knott's, Universal, Disney, and SF. But I'd like to do San Diego to San Francisco and also hit Great America, Discovery Kingdom, and SeaWorld.

went to six flags magic mountain for the first time on 3rd october & i was a little disappointed to be honest, still had fun, but found some of the rides are rattly & rough. agree viper is the worst coaster i have been on. i enjoyed x2 up until the last inversion at the end when my head was smashing against the back. agree batman was horrible. superman was't open & neither was apocalypse. i may of been a bit more disappointed because i had just been to cedar point for the first time a month prior, wish i had done magic mountain before in hindsight, but definatly worth a visit.

Loved this video. We are doing a 5 day LA trip mid October. We purchased the LA Go Card and this is one of the included attractions. We have a day free and trying to decide between here and Knott's. Might change my mind back to Knott's, I love coasters, but it seems a lot of these are rough. That saddens me, because X2 was the one I was looking forward to the most.

I wanted X2 to be so good. I remember watching it being built and seeing it on all the tv shows and always seeing people ride it online. So when it was my turn at the park, I knew I wanted it to be my number 300. I was so excited going into it, but at the same time, a bit nervous. Boy was I disappointed. It's uncomfortable and rough. Vekoma Flying coasters are smoother.

I'm so sorry that your trip was less than stellar at my home park. Magic mountain is a park where people come from all around the world to visit, so ofcourse its only natural to expect the best from this park but instead disappointment was the theme. For myself it would be devastating if cedar point gave me the same experience on my first trip from my bucket list. Also, welcome welcome to the "****" viper club. We meet up just to compare each others catscans😖. They actually slowed it down to help with the pain. So imagine what it previously felt like. And count yourself lucky Green Lantern is leaving. For men it was like viper restraints for your precious. I'm not exactly convincing you to come back am I?

you prolly dont care but if you are stoned like me during the covid times you can stream pretty much all of the latest movies on Instaflixxer. Have been watching with my girlfriend for the last couple of months :)

X2 hack: Inner seat with your hands behind your head as if you're being arrested. I know, if you need special instructions to ride a coaster its probably a bad ride. But because it's so unique it gets a pass.

I know I’m late here but how do you get away thing bringing a camera on the ride?

I had sunglasses with a camera built into the frame. They are Govision glasses. They were also secured with a glasses strap.

Filmed on the 11th and yes it was. Flats tend to upset my stomach, so I did not ride.

Next time ride on the inside on X2 you were on the outside which is the worst!

I did that because I knew my wife didn't want the outside. Next time I get the opportunity to ride it, I'll make sure to grab an inside seat.

I love Arrow looper. Vortex was one of my all time favorite coasters. Sadly Viper just received the Six Flags neglect and it was very rough. It also could have been because we literally did a day trip from Orlando. So we were both tired by that point of the day.

Ah yes. That was an older pair of video sunglasses. I have since upgraded but didn't really visit any parks since then due to everything being closed. Should be visiting a few parks this year and we have acquired Disney passes as well.
