Us brits also had 3 other of the longest log flumes with: Drench Falls - Blackpool Pleasure Beach Nightmare Niagara - American Adventure Loggers Leap - Thorpe Park As far as I know, Nightmare Niagara was the longest out of the four but once that was torn down, Loggers Leap took back the record as it also held it before Nightmare Niagara was extended. The Flume opened in 1981 as the longest but I believe was overtaken by Loggers Leap. Drench Falls opened before The Flume too which obviously was also overtaken by The Flume. Edit: so I just went to check to see if I got my facts right and I didn’t 🤦 Loggers Leap had the longest drop on a log flume until Nightmare Niagara took it for itself but once that closed, Loggers Leap got the record again. Basically I mixed up the height record with the length record 😂

Thank you for that I did not know what El Rio lento meant either😊 but it does sound like a pretty cool name for the world's largest log flume I love the logs a lot

This was our family park growing up, I loved it as a kid, but the first time I went back after going to Six Flags New England and Disney, it was just...yeah, the park needs work.

I live right between great escape and sfne. I like going to mass better cause I'm a rollercoaster fiend. But a gci finally coming to our area? I'm on board. My kid like the great escape better but hes 11. So it will be nice having a coaster besides the comet to ride with him.

They really need one coaster that can please thrill seekers. Adirondack Outlaw was a great addition. Really hoping they will invest in a bigger coaster

If this is their plan going forwards, I'll happily take not getting a new addition at every park each year in exchange for more significant additions like this! I'm excited to see what the future holds for the Six Flags parks (especially my home park Great America!)

@@Aidea._. Absolutely, in the past these new "additions" could be rethemed flat rides or carnival rides for the smaller parks, but if they pick quality over quantity then I think we'll all be happy! :)

Unfortunately the reception has been mostly negative from what I’ve seen :( it’s my home park and I’m in several groups with other parkgoers. It’s really disappointing to see people reacting that way no matter what the park does..

@@shelby8101 Can you blame them though? When you see another Six Flags getting yet another awesome roller coaster or RMC or something and then SFSL gets another flat ride or that family coaster, it just seems like a joke. Our last new coasters were American Thunder (2008) and Spinsanity (2007) which were awesome additions, but since then we've gotten just a Boomerang and flat rides.

They need to ride it first, Crazanity at Magic Mountain always has a line on par with WW: flight of courage and West Coast Racers both next to it; it's well loved. St. Louis is shrinking so I'd extra happy to get a ride like this.@@shelby8101

It's an okay park. They screwed up by removing most of the flats from the Adventure World days. They have a decent coaster lineup, but don't have a single non-cloned, non-mirrored, or non-relocated coaster.

They just need another good coaster or 2 then maybe more people will come out there

@@mattblizzard1205 Precisely! The location is ideal for tourism and there's another couple hundred acres that are unused, but poor decision making and lack of any respect for what it could be have just made it mid at best.

@@George_bonnaire Let's get a better RMC conversion for that ROAR, put a Gerstlaur up where Penguin's Blizzard River used to be, and mow down Mind Eraser, then we might be talking

Don't sleep on Ravine Flyer II at Waldameer. I mean.... its the only coaster that's worth riding at Waldameer, but they have a great water park.

Yeah or if they do DC theming at least put in a little bit more effort. It reminds me of politicians who claim that you should reduce public spending to get something "Cheaper for the same value"... only to then get something that's nowhere near good enough and costing them way more in the long run. Thats what the hastily put together DC tackiness feels like.

The DC theming isn't amazing, but still far better than the majority of Cedar Fair's theming. Not many people under 50 care about Peanuts

It will be somewhat sad to see Revolution gone, as it’s been at Great America ever since I’ve started going there ~15 years ago, but I am extremely excited for Sky Striker

@@Darnedkev I did like revolution but it always got me dizzy every time i would ride it looking forward to the new ride next year a lot should be a lot of fun
