Growing up near STL and having never experienced any other parks outside of Six Flags, I always assumed this was a nice park. It wasn’t until I got older and visited parks like Busch Gardens, Universal, and Sea World when I came to the realization of just how dated this park is.

As someone who has a special interest in bother rollercoasters and severe weather this video was extra interesting! I knew parks have to close rides when lighting is recorded 25/30 miles away but it was cool to see procedures being put into practice and the park keeping you safe to enjoy watching the storm roll over!

this park really needs a stand out coaster and more attention to place-making (perhaps theming)😩. Not just for enthusiasts to want to travel to the park, but the locals that are BORED. six flags stl has been the same for 2 decades (and if anything has gotten worse as six flags has neutered all the original unique themes in place of generic, in-cohesive themes). They HAVE to give the people new meaningful reasons to want to come if they want this park to survive in the long run.

We just moved to the area in March , we are excited to go to this Six Flags! This video is awesome and gave us insight on which rides we should definitely make sure to get on! I was working during that day stationed at rebound next to the sky screamer and boomerang, it was pretty fun watching the hail and thunder. A huge raccoon was inside and saw it run to go outside, then there were some leaks that started to flood the room in the back

I was there on June 6, 7, and 11th Thunder River still not open. Sign said open in June. I will have to travel 8hr. 20min. in 2 months maybe it will be open then. In all we had a great time.

Food in Six Flags STL is incredibly terrible. I grew up on Geauga Lake and Cedar Point.. definitely different. Last time we were there we sought shelter during a tornado warning in the mine ride station. Thanks for the vlog!

I’m a season pass member of SIX FLAGS SAINT LOUIS, I’m always at the Chicago one before I ever visit here at home. It’s just that I wanted to go to other parks mainly. Ours is ok but, it would be nice if they would RMC THE BOSS at least or do sumthin if they still plan to have a park here in Midwest. But sometimes I feel that they are gonna let this one go and try to sell it and that why I feel we haven’t been getting the big attractions like Chicago gets. That’s just my opinion though.

This is bringing back memories of my 2019 visit...Day started off clear, did the water park til it got busy, grabbed lunch and opted to do Justice League to beat the heat. We get off and instead of blue skies, it was gray and getting darker. Out of nowhere, the heavens unleashed and saw some of the heaviest rain I've ever seen (I'm from CA).

Ninja, The track was built by Vekoma and the trains were from Arrow. And my favorite coaster in the park. After waiting years of getting a new coaster we get a family coaster shame wish we could have gotten a single rail coaster.

The coasters aren't bad, but GIVE ME SOMETHING NEW! Catwoman doesn't count. I'm so happy we have a Mr. Freeze, but we need a standout.

Our park use to be nice in the mid 90s early 2000s when I was a kid but it seems like they don’t care. I don’t go to our park anymore. I usually go outside of St. Louis to visit an amusement park.

Haha it makes me wonder if people see all the Batman themed stuff and are like wtf is going on here lol. This was my theme park growing up (lived ~100 miles away and went once every summer) The movie Batman Forever came out and that’s right when they were due for a new ride, so they created The BATMAN ride and it was THE flagship experience there for a while. The pirate ship was right next door so they renamed it The Joker. Then a few years later the movie Batman and Robin came out and it was time for a new coaster… and boom there ya go, the Mr Freeze. I almost feel like when The Boss was opened a couple years later it was somehow incorporated into the theme as well, maybe just in signage. I’m glad the park is still up and running, but watching this shows me that I was there literally in THE heyday in the mid to late 90s as a kid, and it hasn’t really been given the appropriate TLC in the last 20 years or so.

Just curious, when a tornado warning is issued, is there a different shelter, or, a different, more urgent procedure?

i ust to work security here at this park and i can say it is very terribly managed ride wise by mostly teenagers most of the time the rides are in disrepair and non functional and alot of bad things happened at this park not worth a visit at all.
