Sorry about the permanent closure of Geauga Lake. It was a superior park to Cedar Point until 2007. It's LEGACY will never be forgotten. R.I.P. Geauga Lake 1887-2007.

that was amazing. brought back so many old memories. i live in pittsburgh so this was a short drive away. there are so many different rides i think about and i am like where the heck did i ride that at. and BAM there it was in this montage. the only thing you left out was xflight...i think thats what it was called there. all i remember is bright green and i was scared to death the first time i rode it.

I heard a lot about this theme park. How come it never worked out for Six Flags or Cedar Fair? Seems like a really good place.

Six Flags over expanded this park to compete with Cedar Point. But they were in debt from excess spending, and decided to trim their portfolio they sold Geauga Lake to Cedar Fair to help trim their debt. Cedar Fair maybe at first wanted to turn Geauga Lake back into a family friendly park and not something mega that Six Flags had planned. This happened in 2004. In 2006, Cedar Fair bought the Paramount Parks, and shifted their focus on upgrading those parks. Also several older rides closed for good, and they turned part of the old Sea World site into Wildwater Kingdom. They moved two coasters to two of their parks between 2006-2007.

This park is now purely a waterpark. All of the coasters were removed in 2007.

Yes Absolutely It Was A Fun Park To Go To Six Flags Would Keep The Memories Alive For Years To Come If Evil Cedar Fair Didn't Exist To Buy The Park And Eventually Closed It Down Forever

Number 1 fuck cedar fair number 2 ive rode all of these rides when i was a kid number 3 alot of great memories with my dad (not dead) number 4 you hit me in the feels with the song and seeing geauga lake after it became sixflags. Plus im an old buzzard
