A great time out in the paddock with the threepence magnet six inch coil on the Minelab Equinox 800 hunting out four silvers and some other treasures. Plus the first trial of my prototype digger from Tyger Stainless Steel.

The tune at around the 8-minute mark (during the riveting commentary... heh heh) had my toes tapping, nice one Viv! It's certainly a learning curve digging with your foot on the inside of the digger, but I've found that it's so much kinder to the arches of the feet at the end of the day. Loved the farthing and of course the silvers. Hope you're having a great weekend mate.

Well Ive got to say it! It started of riveting, and then you really caught my attention, I must be doing something wrong, usually for me its several penny's and then maybe a silver, if im really lucky. That 1907 thrip did look like it just came out of the mint, into someone's pocket and straight out onto the ground, Id be very happy if I found half of what you did on that hunt! And as for my poor joke at the start, As my mum used to say you can "box my ears" if you see me! Great hunt CBK, Cheers mate!

Howdy Andrew, As much as I love watching and listening to you as you go hunting for metal in the gold fields the real star of the show for me has always been that glorious homemade stealth spade. It's on your logo for gosh sakes. I'm not sure I can keep watching after this. I know what that Ute looks like. If I'm ever wandering amongst the coffee bush and spot it I'm going to move it down the track a half mile. I know you'll detect all the way back to it and I'll get a bonus video that week. Congrats on all the great finds. The Anzac medallion and the farthing are cool as. You and Viv take care and have a great week. Your buddy, Roelf
@TheCoffeeBushKid
@TheCoffeeBushKid 2 жыл бұрын
Gday Roelf. I’m sorry. I didn’t realise it would hit you soo hard. The new digger that I am trying out is very light. The stealth spade is nearly 3kg. Thanks about the finds. It is a good spot and it is easy on the eye too. A little story with no film. Went out detecting to finish a gold video and spotted the council had taken the top 2-3” of grass and top soil from the strip between the foot path and the road kerb along a main road in an old area in town. Very nice of them. Went back that night to detect it. A very balmy 7 degrees C. Long story short. 10 cents in one and two cent pieces. $1 A coin spill. 2 one pennies and a half penny. All roos One G3 1806 half penny Had dew on me when I got back to the Ute. Hope you and Mrs Roelf are well. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍

trouble with old pennies is opposites like no wear and oxidised metal (to many that doesn't matter) - that medal was cool(good find); and a few threepenny bits(uh thripenny bits) - as we say a good yield again !

Hi Andrew - what a fantastic site history wise and you had heaps of wonderful finds; I really love the look of those Eddie thrippences, they're just beautiful. Also love the range of Vickies that you found and the 1918 medallion. I saw your unboxing of the new digger and was looking forward to seeing how it went. Maybe it's a one trick pony?? Seriously though, I'm on the lookout for a long handled digger (though I do like the tiger blade) just want to see if it's easier on the knees for this old duck. I thought the new one looked a bit harder to use than your stealth (but it is pretty & shiny!). Anyhoo.... thanks for another great vid 😀

Gday Deb. It is a great spot there. There is a school site just a bit down the road that is on the same permission. The new digger is lighter than the stealth spade. Just got to use it more to get used to it. I love the Tyger blade but it is a kneel job. Take care mate 😁👍

The threepence magnet does it again with a good selection of them,especially nice condition on the first 1907 one.The new digger did well for you,and I'm sure it will find all dates for you,not just 1907. I don't think there's any need to re program it.Earlier I was wandering how pushing down with your boot on the front would go,but it looks like you've mastered it. Also congrats on the farthing,Anzac Day medal,etc. A good day out.All the best.Cheers.
