The Dreamer D51 is a six metre campervan sleeping four. The Dreamer 51 campervan comes with a 140 litre fridge, combi diesel heating and 100 litre fresh water tank.

I live in a motorhome full time and travel around Europe in it. I spend most of my time in Poland, Germany and Italy. Vanlife is my life.

I do this by regularly attending trade events such as CMT Stuttgart, Abenteuer und Allrad, Caravan Salon Dusseldorf, Warsaw Caravan and Camping Show and sometimes others.
I cover equipment, including 12v electrical equipment and talk a lot about lithium batteries.
I also show some of the places I have visited in Europe in my own motorhome, as well as the places you can stay at! I try to give as much coverage as I can to official campsites and free places which I use for overnighting. Therefore you can find here the aire or stellplatz that you are possibly looking for.

Sleeps 4, were do the other two sleep? Should have explained this or demo’d it. I Like the ford high top and i think a bed over the cab or pop top would be ideal for small family. Thanks for the video 💪👍🏻👏👏👏

It's nice to see a wider variety of base vehicles being used but suspect the supply issues are being resolved quickly, I saw a decent spec new Ducato van on offer at £21995 plus vat here in the UK the other day.

The kids can sleep outside in a tent. In the early 80s 7 of us used to go away in a Leyland Sherpa. That was 4 berth pop top of my Dad's own creation.

Mo Hawk makes a very good point about the electric door, however the same can be said about the vehicle mechanics in general. We know that cars these days are over-engineered to the point that computers and sensors control everything and are prone to failure. The same now applies to vans. Twenty years ago (and more) engineering was much simpler and maintenance of a vehicle much more straightforward. I suspect that, as a used buy after 5 or 10 years, a lot of these vans' dashboards will light up like a Christmas tree and render the used market a riskier and potentially expensive option. Perhaps I'm just an analogue dinosaur. Great review, by the way 👍

I looked at buying a dreamer from Oakwell motorhomes Ltd. They were not interested in my part exchange whatsoever, during the high / easy sales pandemic period. Lets see how choosy they are during the forthcoming recession.

The white interior including the white upholstery is totally impractical, the interior design layout is good. However I'm not keen on the exterior look of the Ford chassis cab.

Yes, the Ford Transit is a good van to camperize. The round corner shelves are not the best. No on the white interior. Do the prices you quote include the VAT?

Jake, in everything I do which is B2C, I always quote VAT at local rates (except in the US), if it is B2B (for which I don't do videos) then VAT has to be added.

Anyone smart enough give understand this of what I'm saying, give it 12-15yrs and power doors, will get much harder to fix. Because by that time, very rarely anybody would know how that technology works and requires study and money to fix it. But at that time, these cars become rare or in the scrap yard while it happens, and if indeed you should need a part to fix your door, the less electronics in your doors and windows, the easier you can apply analouge fixtures to your vehicle and repair the vehicle at a low cost. If these types of vehicles was mass produced all over the world, then the market for repairs will be hefty in price or someone starts a workshop specializing the repair works of these vehicles. But the fewer in the world that knows how to fix them ends up costing the consumers more in fixing them.

I appreciate that some people may not have the strength to close the door but surely this should be an option and not stick the things in a vehicle like this. I can see the doors getting damaged by people trying to close them. Like you, I think it is over engineered.

@@VanlifewithAlan Alan, the reason why I said that, because Toyota leads in many retrospect the pioneer in automatic responsiveness either, man made or Artificial Intelligence. In my case in my Toyota Estima 1996 model, when you manually close it, it has an automatic lock on it to confirm it is closed. However after many years, it's design has an electronic malfunction that when it stops, it's closing mechanisms, all you can do is say, well i hope it rectifies itself, and hopefully it will eventually close itself, however in the end if it locks when you are driving many hours later, you better hop you can sell it before others detects its misfortunes.

@@mohork The more I think about it, the more ridiculous it seems. Anything electronic is going to break sooner or later and I think whereas if an electric window does not go up it is not the end of the world but if a door opens whilst one is on the motorway, then that is something else...

@@VanlifewithAlan in my case it locked 1hr on the freeway. Sometimes I have to go in the middle of my drivers door to the sliding door to unlock it. Just to let the viewers know, I pulled on the side of the road to unlock it from the inside when my electronic key ignition can not unlock the slide door.

Sorry Gillian, I did not say but I often forget things. On the back of the bed there was a unit which can be used to convert the semi dinette into an extra bed.
