It makes my heart so happy to see a variety of women on that stage. Women of every color and size. That's is one of the biggest appeals of this musical for young women, there's little to no type casting going on. Just great performers that love making music.

The most inaccurate is Don't Lose Ur Head, but hey, I like to think Anne is playing a character to make up for it.
@ChattieTheMadChatter3 жыл бұрын
@@kennethfajardo9102 the concept for Anne was that they presented her as what the people of the time thought of her. In the show this is highlighted by the build up for her character as this politically savy powerful woman...then she is texting on her phone "I just want to dance and sing" There are a few other lines in the show that add to that, and it is very wink wink, we know what she was like really. Of all the Queens she us the most well known so they had fun with her character whilst drawing out the strengths of the other queens.

I think that is also why she specifically refers to the 'historical part' not the actual show. But I also don't know a whole lot about it, this is just a thought 😅
@EllieDaisy3 жыл бұрын
@@personalchannel1824 the whole show is kinda the historical part tho 😉 As a massive Tudor fan some elements are correct but others eek. I definitely wouldn’t describe it as accurate no matter how much I love SIX 😋❤️
@ChattieTheMadChatter3 жыл бұрын
There is a lot that is very accurate though; lots of clever word play and details (one of my faves being "more rad than Lutheranisim" 😂 and Anne's "Now for my next song, wearing yellow at a funeral") I think it is very accurate to the spirit of the queens and the trials they went through and strength they showed, Catherine Parr's "there's so much more to me..." listing her under appreciated achievements. Anne Boleyn they deliberately twisted it round to be who the public at the time thought of her as, but with nods to her true character. The most powerful part of the show is Howard, as they show her as the sexually abused young girl she was parcelled off to the king for her families gain and people continuing to use her. I thought that was very accurate.
