All forms of Kabuto are underrated tbh. He deserves a deep dive analysis and way more credit.

The advantage Kabuto gets from fighting in that cave is insane. Especially because it really harshly affects guys like Deidara, Kisame, and Pain who all rely on long distance or large scale attacks. Pain might be able to destroy the entire cave but I'm not sure how he would do that without killing Konan and the other Pains.

I always find it _more_ impressive when these nobody character's from no inherently special clan become reputable self-made ninja, that's why I think Kabuto and Minato are interesting.

I think people don't realize how broken and unpredictable is Sage Kabuto, my man has a trump card for everything on top of having Manda II as summoning

I feel like in addition to Orochimaru DNA, Kabuto was a former agent of Sasoris too and could have serums that he developed afterwards to counter Sasoris poison as well. He and Orochimaru were scientist.

Legit he slaps every duo. He’s got not just the stats but also the toolkit to counter every single one of them. Also war arc Naruto (KCM1 onward) vs Kabuto would be way cooler imo than Pain vs Sage Kabuto. Kishimoto foreshadowed it and never delivered. I think he’s narratively very underrated. Kabuto basically represents not just the culmination of Orochimaru’s ideology, but is one of the very embodiments of the shinobi ideology itself (Characters like Sasori, Itachi, and Danzo also fit into this camp for different ways). He’s taken the very concept that a Shinobi must be an emotionless tool without identity who uses others in turn, and applies it to its logical extreme. He’s not an individual, but literally an amalgam of multiple bodies, bloodlines, and personalities. He has taken the bonds created with people like Haku and Sai’s brother and weaponized them, literally manipulating shinobi like tools and turning the, into heartless killing machines. He’s a narrative mirror to Obito and a foil to Itachi. If he didn’t come off as whiny due to the shitty dialogue writing (“u don’t know what it’s like to have nothing!!11” to the literal orphan) and had a little more focus on him he’d be liked more by the fandom.

Could Kabuto transfer Sasori's poison to others using Sakon and Ukons ability? He merges with them and infects them with the poison and then leave their body. Kabuto is a Medic with Sage mode so he might be able to survive it longer than his opponents and win that way.

Because Sage Kabuto has Orochimaru cells I believe he would highly resist but not be immune to Sasori’s poisons. If he gets tagged by a poison he would live but he would have to quickly finish the fight and make an antidote quickly to survive, which he could, unless this is a gauntlet style where he immediately fights the next duo in which I see him losing to a combination of stamina drain along with the poison against either Kisame and Itachi or Pain and Konan.

This man kabuto is a medical ninja so poison with or without poison resistance I'm sure he'll have a way to make sure he good

I don’t think this would change the matchup outcome, but Sasori in his puppet body makes the match up a bit more interesting. Since the primary jutsu mentioned in the video uses sound and light to attack, we don’t realllyyy know how sasori perceives the world in his puppet body since the “heart” was where his control stemmed from. I feel like it might be possible he has some resistance to attacks of the traditional senses. Similarly, he might not see the same way so genjutsu might not work on him either. I don’t think he is winning regardless but I think it’s a bit more interesting to consider.

Great video man, my only comment about it is that chaotic Shinratensei might be able to just kill him since (in a data book that i cant remember right now) I believe even normal shinratensei can cancel out and override any other jutsu thereby making his liquefaction technique worthless and killing him instantly. Honestly that is only if the pains can get the move off before being speed blitzed by Kabuto😂

I feel like Itachi and Kisame may have had good team work as they were sort of friends in a way, which would lead to better chemmistry. However because both were strong individually there was never a need for them to be fighting together.

Great video. I definitely wouldn’t mind getting a more detailed breakdown of how these fights might go because there are a few things I don’t think you mentioned that I was thinking about. Firstly unless the rules dictate that the fight must remain in the cave the whole time I would think the biggest priority for Akatsuki would be to eliminate the terrain advantage as soon as possible. One way this could be achieved is by pretty much any one of Deidaras bombs. This would obviously cause some problems for Kabuto in the following fights. I certainly think it would be in Kabutos best interests to finish that particular fight as fast as possible which I think he very well could do. The next thing I don’t think you mentioned in regards to Pain is Shinra Tensei. We know Pain has more than enough power in his Shinra Tensei to blow that cave straight to hell again eliminating terrain advantage. I’m not even saying I disagree with how the fights would go just pointing out a few things that made me think.

I do have a few arguments. Kakazu for instance has 5 so it's a six-on-one. Now i understand your argument for the ritual not working due to kabuto turning to water, but I think if the lighting-style heart hit's him while he's water he's going to have to return to a state where one of them could damage him. Then hidan might be able may be able to do the ritual so i think it's possible for that pair to win

I personally think Kabuto is an interesting character with how he was used by the village. And seeing the reason he wanted to obtain power was also pretty interesting to me. I wish he was explored more in the manga and anime, or if he got a light novel that would be pretty cool. Also could you do a video with pain vs nine tails.

Sage Kabuto is so severely underrated within the community, when in actuality, he's easily in the top 5 of OG Naruto characters (discounting the Otsutsukis anyways).

Just a quick thing on the reverse summoning explanation for c0. If I remember correctly sasuke prepped the summoning scroll with his own blood and Suigetsu did the actual summon. So it’s not possible to do by yourself you would need a second person to help. Right?

I'd love to hear this battle again and not in a cave but in an open field because it seems to me that like half of the Akatsuki members have a way bigger advantage in an open field instead of in the cave such as kisame being able to use his water bubble, deidara being able to fly, and pain using almighty push and planetary devastation, for example I don't know if kabuto would really have that good of an answer to planetary devastation even though he could use his inorganic sage art on the rocks themselves the gravity well would probably still be too strong, it took edo Itachi, killer bee, and kcm 1 Naruto all using their full power to destroy nagatos planetary devastation

Itachi is beating kabuto with izanami or susanoo. Itachi only got blitzed because he decided to protect sasuke instead of himself since he was edo and sasuke couldn’t react. Plus itachi was confident he could beat kabuto on his own and said the fight was harder since he couldn’t kill kabuto. Pain will just almighty push the cave to explode the ceiling then use planetary devastation. Kabuto doesn’t have anything to destroy the core.

Sasori probably has at least ONE poison that would theoretically kill Kabuto. Let's remember that Resistance is NOT Immunity, despite how often they're treated as the same thing in poorly translated anime and such. However, could Sasori inflict poison on a liquid body? And poison generally takes a few minutes or more to kill someone. It's not like they die instantly or within 10 seconds. Given the speed of Naruto characters arguably being LIGHTSPEED back when Naruto and Sasuke fight Haku, given that "Haku moves between Ice Mirrors like light" or whatever that manga translation shows... I'm not convinced that Kabuto couldn't just kill Sasori and Deidara even AFTER being inflicted with poison, and then somehow counteracting it. I mean, lets remember that basically 3 ninja are even RELEVANT as Medical Ninja until Tsunade trains Sakura... Kabuto, Tsunade, and Tsunade's useless apprentice, Shizune(?) or whatever. Then we later learn about Granny Chiyo. So if ANYONE could neutralize the poison, it would be one of the best medical ninja of all time, who also has poison resistance. And that's assuming he could even get inflicted with poison. Also, could he just liquids his body and wring out the poison? I guess probably not since his blood doesn't spill out when he does it... but who knows. Crazier things happened in Naruto. Kishimoto could've written it that way lol. But ultimately, I basically think IF Sasori COULD inflict poison on Kabuto, he would have at least 1 that was effective... if he could survive long enough to buy time for it to work and keep Kabuto busy so Kabuto couldn't neutralize it. But I don't see that happening. Also, how many poisons would he have to try before using the effective one? How many times could he inflict Kabuto with a poison? I kinda feel like it's a fight between Gon & Killua vs Goku lol. It just ain't happening. Even if theoretically one of them has an effective move... they couldn't land it.

Sage kabuto is the most slept ok character in the show cause he has no feats besides reanimating, but he honestly solos nearly everyone in the war arc save for madara, hashirama and maybe kcm Naruto.

The reanimated Akatsuki due of Edo Itachi and Edo Nagato would be a slaughter...

This fight is a little awkward because characters like Kisame and Pain are limited by their partners since they do large DPS AoE attacks.

For Hidan and Kakuzu, if they somehow managed to Kabuto's blood, they would need to do the team ultimate jutsu from the storm games where Kakuzu just nukes Hidan and then then that same damage transfers to Kabuto.

I also believe that, if the Preta Path did absorb the dragon of the White Extreme Attack, since it's made of sage energy, it'd turn the Path into a snake, rendering him useless.

This could've been longer. And I think the top two duos would be the ones to give snake saged Kabuto the most trouble. Let alone beat him after a good struggle.
