Dollbe is the reason I got into lolita! I fell in love with her Victorian wallpaper dress like I fell down some fucking stairs and badabing badaboom I’m a lolita now! I need to save up some more before I’d actually be able to own it :’) I absolutely wish her the best of health, she deserves so much for how much she gives

I had the privilege of meeting her mother at my last job! When I tell you her and her mother are some of the sweetest people I encountered at my fabric table job I mean it!! I wish dollbe nothing but the best and I fully intend on saving up enough money to invest in the bunny basket jsk! 💖💖💖

I’ve been interested in Dollbe for a while, but I didn’t know that the dresses are cotton/linen blend! I almost exclusively wear natural fibers because I have sensory and thermoregulatory issues and manmade fibers just don’t work for me generally. A lot of brands are doing more polyester recently which I understand but sort of limits what I’ll get because I just know that I won’t wear them if they’re uncomfortable. My wardrobe mainly is cotton, but linen is one of my favorites because it’s so breathable. Definitely going to look at those layaway options.

I'm a plus size girl that only found your channel recently, and it inspired me to look into wearing lolita. A dollbe dress is definitely my dream right now, but as a disabled woman who lives on $1,000 a month it's just not feasible for me. I think right now taobao brands that do custom sizing is going to be my best bet. (I looked into bodyline and their 4x dresses tend to have about a 100cm waist...mine is 155. Not happening). But even so, just seeing all the amazing coords people do is really inspiring! I've been vaguely aware of lolita for a few years, but only once I started watching your channel that I saw that plus size girls can rock it! I was also previously only aware of sweet and gothic lolita, which don't really fit my style. But now I know that things like classic and country lolita are a thing, I'm pretty interested to try it. Who knows, maybe in a few months I'll have something to submit for fixing coords (or whatever it's new incarnation will be).

Also just something to look for at the taobao brands that do custom sizing usually have a max size so just remember to check that and best of luck

The change in voice and appearance from the beginning of the video was a surprise. I really like how Dollbe uses plus sized models. It's one thing to have the product, but being able to see it on someone with fupa is a whole other level that I greatly appreciate. I never knew the dresses came with all those extras.

I've been looking forward to this video! My picture made it in. I love my stained glass garden dress. Dollbe makes such beautiful things. A note for those who can't afford a dress all at once, she does have a layaway option as well. She just won't start on it until all the payments are made. That's what I did with mine. She also has a go fund me for her workshop and medical expenses.

I have the exact same Tea Table dress in the same color, and also in blue. I also have the PG Garden Party dress in pink. I'm grateful that there are small brands willing to cater to plus size women, especially those who are larger than 120 cm waist/bust. Dollbe occasionally does sales that are 40% off without the waist ties. But that's okay because I hate waist ties. I used to watch Lovely Lor back in 2014, and I'm older than she is, and she's come a long way in terms of the fashion and her social media skills. I didn't have any Lolita pieces back then, but now I have 7 main pieces that I'm keeping permanently.

My first real lolita dress was Dollbe's PG Tea Party in pink and green. Being brand new I was scared of shopping services and even lace market was intimidating (only because I fear new things) lol. When the dress arrived I felt so happy. The quality struck me first. It is so well constructed and the materials are top notch. It fit like a dream. I can't say enough good things about Dollbe.

I love that you chose the tea dress. it was you who turned me on to Dollbe when you wore the garden dress. thanks to Dollbe inclusive sizein that tea dress is my dream dress and i have it in a size I can wear. You and Dollbe are the only reason I got in to Lolita, I hope she can get the funding she need to make her new workshop and make more of her brand.

I'm so glad this video released. I was looking forward to it. In an earlier discussion topic I said that DollBe is one of my least favourite indie brands because the aesthetic isn't my cup of tea, so I looked forward to seeing someone coordinate their pieces in a way that appealed to me. And you did! I love the fact that there is a matching totebag that has a zipper!

My husband recently bought me the Bunny Basket dress in green! They really are such incredible quality, and I cannot get over how cute and cottage-y the quilt print is! I'm so happy there such a wonderful size-inclusive brand out there for lolita style. Dollbe is doing such incredible work!

Omg 2013 was 9 years ago?? Feels like yesterday 😭 I have the bunny basket in orange! I love all-over prints and the idea was unique so I had it as a dream dress for a while. I put it on layaway and had a few financial issues, and dollbe was so understanding when I was a little late for my last payment. When I got it I was so amazed at how comfortable it is and how gorgeous the print is irl! I wear it literally all the time now, in and outside of lolita. It's definitely worth the investment and I cannot wait until I can get another one!!

cool that they have an empire waist and natural waist option. I often get the impression that lolita dresses end looking like a empire waist even when it wasn't intended by the designer, because there is not enough space in the dress for the bust

I've been interested in lolita for a while now, and oh my, this brand tickles just my fancy! I like it how Dollbe's print patterns are larger, as I really tend to prefer those to smaller ones, as it's easier to follow for me what's going on in a dress. I also really like her natural vibe. I probably won't start with lolita soon (for multiple reasons: 1) it's an investment, so I think i should be able to know better what I want before actually purchasing anything 2) I'm a student so,, the cost wouldn't suit me atm, also see 1 3) I'm a wuss 4) a part of my study consists of soil science and other things that could make a dress dirty. ) But when I do, and when I've gotten a bit more into it, I'll definitely work my way to one of her pieces

Her prints are all so beautiful and exciting for me! i'd commented on a previous video of yours about how it'd be nice to see more green and orange in a wider variety of print themes or something to that effect and i didn't know about Dollbe at the time!

I have two of her dresses! Sadly I haven't had a chance to wear either of them anywhere yet, because I bought them in the past year-plus when meets and outings weren't happening. But they are both gorgeous. The fabric is thick, sturdy, and high quality, and they're very well-made. Plus the prints are lovely. (I have Queen's Court and Anouettes, both in green). They are an investment, but if you can manage it, it's worth it. And the size inclusivity is wonderful. I have to say it's nice for once to be in the middle of a size range rather then just barely squeaking in at the far end. :P Definitely support her and her work!

Yeah I remember that video! I have been here a while, your one of the reasons I stayed in the fashion and happily expressed myself as a sweet lolita and bonding with my late mother and also with my dad now.💕 Her dresses are so amazing and hope to buy some pieces from her soon! 🥰👍🏾

she discussed in the video why the dresses cost what they do - they're entirely designed and handmade by one person, which involves a lot of extremely hard work. it's fine if you don't like the dresses or don't want to pay that much for one, but the "worth" of the dress includes the hours dollbe put into it
