Hi, folks. We hope you're all healthy and forward-looking! We really wish that this time of introspection provided you the answers to enlighten your path and projects. We enjoyed sharing with you all lately and we got numerous reactions to our new music videos! This is why we wanted you to be a part of it, as our way to thank you. We received lots of drawn and engraved runes, and they're a perfect match for the spare version of our song Rún. This new version was made to give all of you the boost and good vibes needed to face the future! Stay safe, take care of yourself and others. See you soon on the road 💙

Cant believe both of them left the band. Its not the same without them. Its as if Maria and Kai left Heilung, if they did Heilung wouldnt be the same, and same with Skald.

An interesting comparison. I would imagine that many primitive cultures would have similar vocal and drum styles. The few things that most cultures could put together.

ha Skald , vos chant porte aux loin l'héritage des peuple ancien Nordique de l'Europe que j'admire . une richesse que je suis heureux d'avoir découvert depuis peut mais qui fait voyager mon esprit dans les temps ou la nature était prospère et en parfaite harmonie avec les tradition des hommes . Rien que le fait d'écouter ces chants , me donne des frisson . Moi qui suis Polynésien je peut dire que même si les Vikings ne sont jamais venu dans les Îles qui peuple mon continuant (l'océanie), leurs héritage lui a su conquérir et traversé les âges et les frontière allant même jusqu'aux extrémité de la terre touchant en chemin des terres qu'ils ne penser même pas l'existence. merci Skald de nous faire découvrir ces culture perdu a travers vos chant , continuer vous faites du beaux travaille .

I totally agree. If you like this song, I would suggest checking out Heilung, especially their song Krigsgaldr. It takes a couple minutes to get to the female vocals but you can always ff to see if you like it:)

I love the Heartbeat style drum at the start. I love that I've found this band, I've never been religious but I've always been spiritual and this just taps into the Scandi part of me, and songs like Grotti tap into that Scandi/Native American side for me. Keep up what you are doing!
