These subs are definitely fun! I compared a pair of these to a pair of orion xtr pro on 3k and besides the tuning difference (skar at 32, orion at 38) they both slam! Have fun!

Damn brotha...i was lookin at em same subs... but didnt have the room in my lil suv...since its a daily driver n i haul and travel...but me and my lady Love OuR Bass.. so i ended up with 2-15 RF p3..in a sealed box...still gets job done..just didnt have room for a ported.box..great videos brotha...Rock on and bass out brotha...🚙🔊🔊💨💨

Very similar to my setup. I just got sundown Xv3 12's instead. They're still 70+ pounds each so they're beastly lol. I am gonna get an 8k tho.

Yea regular agm battery, honestly I thought it would do better but everyone says that you have to have some kind of reserve. I’m going to build a small lithium bank then it should do way better

Taramps Smart Bass 5k, autotech 370 alternator and still going to get some kind of lithium. Either 2 D4s 6.0 lto batteries or a titan 8

What made you choose the VFX instead of the ZVX?

Zvx are strictly spl subs, unless they are in a band pass they don’t sound too good, just get loud if u put a ton of power to them. These are more efficient and have better sound quality

@@ptakcaraudiochannel2675 Running a single 12 ZVX 1ohm version and its running very well for music in the bandpass I built for it, no crossovers nada. I'm running a Taramps md3k at 1 ohm to it and a Pioneer 600 watt on mids and tweets. Xs power d3400 battery and isolator. All 350 amp fused up with sky high OFC big 3 and all OFC wiring. But I'm fairly new to the car audio game.
