Here's the first of several videos (playlist) of my newest install. Since this vid I have made a custom amp rack. In this video the amp is only clamping 2,500 W (half of what sub can take!) Check out all of my car audio videos, and more to come.. (Fi Neo 4.11)
One 15" Skar 5K RMS DNR (in one bad-ass enclosure which I'll describe below),
Taramps Bass 8K, (instead of a Taramps MD 8,000)
4 Skar 5.25" mid-bass woofers,
XS Power D3400 AGM (under the hood)
XS Power SB155-75 in the back (not shown)
4 runs of 2/0 OFC wire, and 1 of 1/0 OFC wire,
Skar mid-bass amp,
JS 390 Amp Alternator,
Audio Control LC7i Line Output Converter with Accu Bass,
8" touchscreen stock head-unit Ford Sync III,
2011 Ford Edge 3.5L 300 HP with air intake and ForScan,
Siless sound dampening material nearly everywhere including 3 layers on back gate door, roof, all four doors, trunk, and some interior trim panels.

Thank you very much bro! My fav part is doing the install, electrical especially. Currently working on the new amp rack using black PVC plastic board.. Thanks to Five Star Car Stereo informing (YT vids) on what to use and how to use it. I started off with a single Kicker 12" L7S Solo Baric in the beginning of 2020 and have upgraded going on 4 times now so I too started off slow but apparently I've been bitten by the "bass-bug" and can't get enough of it! =]

I finally bought the SSA APM-X meter. Hope to meter this set-up before I swap out the subs which should be arriving soon from Fi.

Thx. I'm getting ready to post video now that I went from feeding them 4k each to 6500w each. Clamped power. Starting to hurt my ears at full tilt (155dB)

My one only complaint would be the port area is too small for such powerful subs. This enclosure is more for 1500w-2000w subs that are good with 8in²-12in² port area per net cu ft vol. These subs need 16in². Thanks for stopping thru. More better vids are being edited now.

Looking good bro that dnr looks mean and sounds mean flexing your whole car...8 just bought the bass 8k gonna run it .5 ohm 4 skar evl 15s...with a 120ah of yinlongs

@@SOBERSCUMBASSHEAD I bet you score a 153dB your first try at the meter! However, with that being said, plz don't hesitate to share results with us even if it's not the results you're looking for. We bassheads enjoy seeing progress. Which is why "Jacob Viral 2" is becoming popular. Consistent updates, even if it's of only him folding back his passenger seat.

What is the ohm load of the speaker and how is it wired

The DNR is a D2 (Dual VC 2-ohm) but is wired in parallel down to 1 ohm. However, I will be wiring my 2 new Fi subs down to 1/2 ohm soon as I will be selling this DNR for a lot of money :D

What's my voltage drop to with the XS Power SB1500-75?? (Which I didn't have at the time of posting these videos) I'll say 13.2V after adding the bank of caps, and 12.6 before adding the super bank.. bcuz I don't remember exactly but I'll put it to the test tomorrow to get accurate numbers. I'm about to buy a CES 80 ah LTO battery since I'm adding a second Taramps Bass 8K which I'll run both 8ks at 0.7-ohm = 20,000 RMS watts. Oh boy! I sense trouble considering I can fit only one alternator (390a) bcuz I'm selling this set-up now that 2 Fi 15" Neo 4.11s are on their way.

I love that it is less than $100 per 1,000 watts! Pros: Includes remote clipping LED!! A huge plus! It can handle vibrations such as from being mounted on enclosure unlimited previous models/series. Has a large upgraded heat sink which barely ever gets warm even at full-tilt (I keep at 1-ohm for now). It accepts Sky High Car Audio 2/0 XL oversized wire (which is more like 4/0 awg). Cons: No bass knob connection which only means you need to buy a universal one (RCAs). Only has single power/ground inputs. Has only single speaker outputs. Has 2 loud fans which often sound as if they're cheap. Is 14.4V power hungry unlike it's predecessor (MD line/series which made its rated power at only 13.8V if I remember correctly but they couldn't handle vibrations or heat as well and were not bass amps but are full range amps).

I forgot to mention another Pro.. the Bass 8K can handle 0.5 ohm much better than the MD series could.

How about Crescendo? I'm considering switching. Crossfire and Sundown are too expensive for me. Skar isn't powerful enough. Ampere seems good. I'm unfamiliar with DC. What do u favor?

Now that you mention it.. It does. Plus it feels like I'm standing beneath one about to take off. Keep in mind our device's little speakers can't reproduce those same frequencies which often causes massive distortion. Sounds nothing like what it sounds like in person. Although in person ya feel it more than ya hear it. Kinda feels like my ears are being plunged 34 times a second. (34 Hz) lol, wouldn't that be a funny thing to see.
