Στο πλαίσιο του έργου Mo.Na (Monuments in Nature: A creative Co-existence) σε συνεργασία με την Εφορεία Αρχαιοτήτων Κυκλάδων είχαμε τη χαρά και τιμή να καταγράψουμε τον κ. Δημήτρη Αθανασούλη σε μια «ψηφιακή ξενάγηση» σε ένα από τα σπουδαιότερα Μεσαιωνικά μνημεία του Αιγαίου, τον Σκάρο. Το βίντεο που θα παρακολουθήσετε από το κανάλι του Νίκου Κορακάκη παρουσιάστηκε στο Εργαστήριο - Διεθνές Διαδικτυακό Σεμινάριο (Webinar) που διοργάνωσε ο Δήμος Θήρας στις 28 Μαΐου. Αξίζουν θερμά συγχαρητήρια στο Ευρωπαϊκό Κέντρο Βυζαντινών και Μεταβυζαντινών Μνημείων (ΕΚΒΜΜ), την Εφορεία Αρχαιοτήτων Κυκλάδων και το Δήμο Θήρας συνολικά για αυτό το σπουδαίο έργο. Από την πλευρά μας θα θέλαμε να ευχαριστήσουμε όλους αυτούς που μας βοήθησαν τις τελευταίες μέρες για να δημιουργήσουμε αυτή την «ψηφιακή ξενάγηση» και αναφέρονται αναλυτικά στο τέλος της προβολής. Θερμές ευχαριστίες στο Μουσείο Μπενάκη, στον κ. Γιώργη Μαγγίνη και την κα Άλκηστη Κάρλου για την ψηφιοποίηση και παραχώρηση άδειας προβολής του μοναδικού σχεδίου σε μολύβι από τη συλλογή του Thomas Hope. Θα θέλαμε επίσης να ευχαριστήσουμε και τον κ. Robert McCabe για την άδεια να παρουσιαστούν δυο σπουδαίες φωτογραφίες του από το 1954. Ο Σκάρος, η μεσαιωνική πρωτεύουσα της Σαντορίνης αξίζει την προσοχή και το ενδιαφέρον όλων μας.
In the context of the Mo.Na project (Monuments in Nature: A creative Co-existence), in collaboration with the Ephorate of Antiquities of Cyclades, we had the pleasure and honour to record Dimitris Athanasoulis in a “digital tour” of Skaros, one of the most important medieval monuments of the Aegean. The video was presented at the Workshop/Webinar hosted by the Municipality of Thera on the 28th of May, and you can see it through the link below. We would like to congratulate the European Centre for Byzantine and Post-Byzantine Monuments, the Ephorate of Antiquities of Cyclades and the Municipality of Thera for the entire project. We would like to thank all of those who helped us with the completion of the video over the last few days and they are mentioned at the end of the video. We are particularly thankful to the Benaki Museum, George Manginis and Ms Alkisti Karlou for making the appropriate arrangements for the digitization of the spectacular drawing from the Thomas Hope Collection and for allowing us to present it here. We are also thankful to Robert McCabe, who allowed us to use two of his exceptional photographs from 1954. The medieval capital of Santorini, Skaros deserved our interest and attention.
