Skateboard wheel on Minibike chain tensioner? Will it work? | GoPro | Darzrt

11 ай бұрынToday i swapped a skateboard wheel onto my chain tensioner and used a dremel to take a bit out of it so the chain doesn’t run off the minibike, it seems to be working i just need to find the right spot where it’s not too tight or too lose!

if you decide to get another tensioner, you should get the RCF chain tensioner it bolts to the side cover and it aligns perfect with the chain and it'll never come loose, i have it on my motovox with a #35 sprocket idler as the roller so i never have to worry about swapping it

I tapered my” skate wheel tensioner”replacement to kepp chain alighned more effectively.original was “ lost” after engine swap out.along w/ other original Doodlebug parts. Necessity breeds modifications.

Dude. Crazy build. Been working on my own motovox for a minut now and the paint you got looks so dope. I'm assuming you used gopowersports suspension forks when you swapped them out, so I was curious how you were able to get the motovx fender on the front? Mine doesn't fit but I'm tryin gwith the wheel on so not much room for tools. Also... that seat actually looks comfortable haha. Did you upholster the original seat or grab a new one entirely? Last note, I'm looking to get a bigger chain tensioner for mine as well as the chain is too loose, would you suggest the sk8 wheels?

You need to have the front tire off to install it, my fender are OEM so they are flexiable, i just forced it to fit on, the bolt holes align perefctly if you like the way it sits as is.. the seat is a storm 200 seat that i threw a dirtbike seat cover on, upholstered myself with a industrial staple gun. Sk8 wheel for tensioner has been working great!
