Well on the road home from Cleveland decided to stop in Chicago for their Monday night adult skate session hosted by DJ BC @ Glenwood Roller Skating Rink 856 Holbrook Rd, Glenwood, IL | 8p-12a | $10 admission. These are some of the most skilled and talented skaters I have ever had the pleasure of filming on camera! Take a look and judge for yourself!

I can only dream of getting to be this good. I actually have dreams of being able to skate that well. Now that my kids are all grown up I can actually get back to the simpler things in life like skating. Love to watch everyone & it gives me incentive to get better!

I loved going to Rainbow roller rink back in the 90's. But, thanks to having MS now, my balance, and coordination is off now, 🤦🏽♀️ but, I love watching skating videos, and seeing others havin' a good time....

I unfortunately cannot get back in the rink. I love these videos so much because they keep me in the loop and they’re so exciting to watch. Even if I could get back in the rink, I hardly think I could do what these masterful roller skaters can do. They are amazing.

Im in San Antonio now but grew up skating in Chicago..this rink looks like Glenwood rink,nice videos...have respect because skating ain't easy it takes YEARS to skate on this level..

This is pure 🔥! Is nobody gonna talk about the lady at 0:51 doing the splits? I never really appreciated splitters til I saw that. That is some of the most physically intense skating I've ever seen tbh. To be able to roll like that and then go right into the splits. . . man, my body hurts just thinking about it! She really took it to another level! There is so much amazing skating and skaters in this video to learn from. Thank you for capturing it on film and sharing it with the rest of the world. Also, the way you get the audio to sync up w/ the skating is beautiful. Aside from the actual skating, that is my favorite part of your videos. It makes the viewer feel like they are there, and it gives them a better idea of how to approach skating with JB and other kinds of music. You can see how the movements of the skaters match up with the music. Between your channel, Malik's, and Nick's, I can't decide which I like the best. And that's the best part. You each have your own style that makes you unique, and it's about shared respect and cooperation rather than competition. And the skate community as a whole is better for it. So thank you for doing what you do!

I really like these vids. I discovered them last weekend when somebody I know in US posted one on FB. We don’t have anything like this in Canada. We have rollerskating obviously but it’s not the same. Mostly it’s a bunch of ankle burners or other people who just zip around QuickTime in circles. This is like a niche segment of African American culture that’s developed to next level. As far as I can there are 4 different types styles or dances...I dunno what they are called.. Slow walkers and group dances which I really like but are missing in this vid. Fast with tricks and then centre of circle dance freestyle. Did I miss some? Are there different styles in different areas or what? I dunno shit about this but it’s entertaining to watch and people have some serious skills. Much love from your neighbors in the frozen northlands.

Not too long. It really depends on how often you skate and who you skate with. 2 years of consistent skating you'd fit right in. To be as good as him though.... don't hold your breath most people can't skate like that.

I remember skating at Park City Rink, back in the fifties (50) Midnight Rambler. Skated at Glenwood about the 1997- 1998, then Markham. Looking back at the time, Enjoyed this OMG.

Glenwood is a great place to skate I’ve had the pleasure. Amazing talent to skate with. Skating with high talent drives you and makes you try to level up. I liked the floor a lot. Skating on wood is the best.
