"Remember skateboarding skills are the rewards for focused practice, persistence, and commitment." I feel that an entire episode could be made on state of mind. I used to push myself too hard, with less pleasure, more injuries. Mad at myself. Know, I spend 10min warming up, 10 to 20 minutes just enjoying the pleasure of doing lines with simple tricks I master. Then I do hard tricks, or learn new ones. Never skated that much. Never progressed so much. Through practicing ant teaching rock climbing, I learned how to go accept my fear level instead of convincing my self I could go over it.

Id love to see a video for older skaters that haven't skated for years. Like myself, i skated for 10years and haven't skated for 15 years till 5 months ago. Good tips for retraining muscle memory ect

I skated from my 20 to 26. Back to sk8 at age 39. The videos of JB are perfect for us. I personally take more time warming up, and more baby steps. Focus on pleasure. I progress much much much faster than when younger, when skipping steps.

Start small and work your way up, focus on confidence in your knee slides and knowing when to bail. All my video are for everyone. Skateboarding daily is the secret to comfort 💙🛹💙

I have been ollieing since the late 80's and can get 3+ feet but dead still always had issues with going at speed going forward (have not tried yet) is gonna be a game changer I cannot thank you enough!
