JOLLY COOPERATION
This one was an Idea that's been floating in my head for a minute. Wasn't sure what to do with it until I was reminded of our valiant Onion Knights.

I LOVE seeing art of the Soulsborne world and characters before the fall. It's so easy to forget that it wasn't always a desolate ruins being combed over by the last few survivors and wandered by the husks of legends past. I always have trouble imagining the streets and spires bustling with life, but the art and music here helps fill in a few of the gaps. Feels like they're prepping for a festival with the banners and food, although knowing the Onion Bros that could just be a regular Tuesday for them.

I remember seeing this art in one of Vaati's videos. It really makes me wish for a book revolving around the daily lives of the Knights of Catarina and the shenanigans they get up too while keeping their people safe.

Their time may be long passed but the memory of their life before tragedy lives on in the form of writing and leftover memories. May the spirits of the Onion Knights be among their brethren as they relax among their own. Wonderful composition as always Rush but I love the small twangs of strings before carrying the melody especially in this sketch.

Rush have been an inspiration to me as a composer. My life as a composer just started, and I just wanted to say thank you. You and Samuel Kim always give me the kick I need to keep doing what I love. Also, any chance you could do a cover of music from A Silent voice? I'd love to hear your take on it!

Now, I’ve never played a souls game but I can feel the nostalgia nevertheless. As others have said, it feels as the festival is drawing nigh and the guild halls are full of laughter and joy. Contentment, gratefulness in the peace. That is what I get from this wonderful piece. ❤️🎵

You should absolutely play them. There are so many parallels you could draw from the Dark Souls games to real life. Like hollowing could be viewed as a real person going mad without a purpose, after losing something dear to them.

Yorm, a strong and honest giant. He loved his people and protected them with everything he had. But they always feared him. They always despised him. But he still kept his promise and protected an ungrateful kingdom. He was not a maddened saint devouring the innocent. He wasn’t a prince who lost all hope in humanity. He wasn’t fighting an aimless battle against the dark. He welcomed the dark. He gave you the sword. Should a time ever comes he will no longer be himself, he gave you a gift to finish it off. Till the end he protected his people and all that he loved. And if losing to you continues the world to live, then he wouldn’t mind. Weather the storm and do what must be done. May the sun shine on this humble giant.

This a great song, In definitely going in my Music playlist. I like how even when it's bombastic, it still has a serene feel to it. Can someone explain these sketches to me? I only listened to his 'pigment' sketch and thought it was supposed to be wholly original. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I guess they're loosely based on a musical theme with larger elements of original music entwined?
