Adams fangirlling of Stephs art throughout this entire video is my reason for living. Like Steph is SUCH A GOOD ARTIST (You inspire me a lot Steph), but to hear Adam just go *oh my gosh this is amazing* the whole time is adorable. You guys are a really sweet couple, and it's nice to see you both support each other constantly and make sweet comments about each other's art. Keep being one of my favourite channels

You should do a video on your thumbnailing process! It's something that's super important in illustration but is rarely really talked about, and what you've shown us of your thumbnails, they look really lovely.

I've never thought of doing my swatches in my sketchbook...but that's a really good idea considering when I'm on the road, I can't bring every art supply with me and that includes swatches. Great idea Steph! And also - that's the most adorable and unique sketchbook I've ever seen!

Good Morning from Maine! It takes me so long to watch a full video because of my 2-year-old but I absolutely love the both of you. You bring so much joy and fun to my life during stressful times. You two have inspired me on many accounts. Especially with your earlier videos where you paint with funny items :P I make paint with dollar store makeup! I would never have even thought of making my own paints without you both. You are an inspiration and I want to say thank you :) I agree with the comments below that you should make a children's book! When I saw the NZ doll I almost leapt out of my chair and started singing Pokarekare Ana. Also a tripple twist necklace like that usually means a bond or unity between people. So that was very fitting!

I can totally imagine a (children's) story book with some sweet tale inside, illustrated with small sketches like the ones in this sketchbook. No need for a full fledged background picture, just some small figures / scene parts here and there.

Supply tests in the back of sketchbooks absolutely count. How else do we learn how they will react to that paper before taking them to our work? Heck, I have pages flagged through a couple so I can find other tests and attempts at techniques. Besides those swatch pages are gorgeous! 😄

I love the thumbnail sketches at 9:25 I've recently started doing thumbnails for when I'm drawing and I think it really helps me ground my idea before I start and they look cute next to the finished piece!
