PART 3 of the JESSTOBER ART CHALLENGE CONTINUES! I am excited to share my process for the first week of illustrations. Lot's of satisfying and calming painting footage...After making my first time making my own prompt list, and I really excited to share my process and bring you along the journey this month! In this video I share how I illustrate prompts 2 through 8. A week in my life as an artist! For the art challenge, I am using mixed media including watercolor, gouache, ink and colored pencils. I absolutely loved every piece, but my favorite was definitely the "Glow". The dark background, the contrast, the lighting, the pose, everything was perfect!!! You are so talented!!!!✨✨✨❤️❤️❤️

I am really impressed. You dominate all techniques: oil, watercolor, guache, color pencils, you name it. Add to the mix good ideas and quality video editing. Keep the good work, Jess, you are adding value and good values to this world. By the way, "Glow" was my favorite this time.

Hey Jess! As always, I loved watching your paintings come alive in this video. All were beautiful, but favorite is a toss-up between the sunflower picture and your hummingbird picture. Sunflowers are my favorite flowers, and I could see “you” in the picture. And then the hummingbird painting reminds me of Grammy. It’s her favorite bird. I could see that illustration on a greeting/note card. Beautiful. Also, when you were talking about the little characters for your key drawing, it made me think of the children’s book/tv cartoon series that grew up with, called, “The Littles”. Once again beautiful work. I look forward to your next video.

I think it's really impressive that you can do such different color schemes. Some are so vibrant, some very muted, and some kind of in the middle, calm and pastel. Really beautiful.

I am curious about that too. I am thinking that watercolor wouldn’t hold over the medium and that maybe she painted in gouache. But I thought gouache wouldn’t be ideal over the medium as well. Who knows 🤷‍♀️. Let’s hope she see’s the question and answers.
