[13:40] 👋🏾👋🏾 maybe because I'm a noob at watercolors but being afraid of a paint makes perfect sense to me. It's why I prefer watercolors above anything. What's more is you said you felt more comfortable with the gouache and it shows in the joyful vibe of the page 😊

I love the hunter and the mystery twins ones! Your art style is absolutely stunning, and I love the way you put abomination goo on hunter like in Eclipse Lake! Keep up the good art ❤️

the leaking is due to the type of paper, I would suggest using a multi-media paper that says it's meant for wet medium as well as dry. something like Canson multimedia is a good cheap option, that paper will handle the way that watercolour sinks into the page much better. Canson also does a decent watercolour paper that is pretty cheap and holds watercolour better than the multimedia paper.

eeek i think the funky oddly behaving page was bc the paper lost its sizing :( i hate when that happens, really disrupts any plans with wet media (specifically inks/watercolours). though the way you worked around it turned out beautifully :0 the cohesiveness with the colours on the gravity falls/howl’s moving castle spread is super cute to look at. i don’t personally know any of these characters (beyond a surface level) but i adore the way you captured their personality and designs, they look so different & dynamic and gorgeous

Thank you so much! Mostly I get inspired by artists I follow on Instagram! Reference photos on Pinterest also get me inspired but Instagram has so many talented artists that have inspired me and helped me develop my own style over the years 👌🏼👌🏼

thank you! also YES it definitely bled a lot to the other side! xD I think the only non-bleed sketchbook is the Crescent Rendr Sketchbook. I personally don't mind bleeding tho because it just means i get to glue a bunch of fun stuff/papers to the other side 🙌
