Yellow frog tape from Bunnings is low tack and won’t tear your pages..u can but beige masking tape over the top if the yellow throws out your colour sense

I find it to be good, as long as you're not planning to remove pages to sell as final artwork. That said, I don't have a lot of experience using gouache in any other sketchbook!
