Illustrated Moments by Jess Karp presents...
A sketchbook tour of the recent watercolor sketchbook completed. It is filled with paintings and drawings from both observation and imagination. I show an inside look into my artwork in my sketchbook where I create art challenges, experiment painting with acrylic, watercolor, gouache, pencils and more! I loved creating all the art in this book and I hope you enjoy me sharing a little something I put my heart and soul into. I also hope it inspires you to create your own masterpieces in your sketchbook from YOUR heart! I love capturing life and its beautiful moments. Advice for new artists: your sketch doesn’t have to be perfect as this. Make mistakes, experiment, try new think, it’s ok leave unfinished drawing or painting

I really appreciate your free writing. Some of it reminded me of myself I lost all my heart rather it was all stolen with everything I own and I see the things you’ve written know drawn and I’m a little envious because it’s similar to the things I’ve done, but I happy to see and learn from you. People: Doing daily life stuff Jess: (Taking the watercolor set out ) Hold my beer... I saw something Really, I can't believe how easily and quickly you catch those moments! It takes hours for me to finish a watercolor piece (which doesn't end up as half beautiful as yours) Truly amazing😁

LOL I thought I was the only one who drew random blobs and shapes and then drew them into what i thought I saw in them!! Oddly enough, my mother, who is not an artist, was the one who taught me that when I approached her one day when I was, like, 8, complaining that I wanted to draw but didn't know what to draw!

I thought this was gonna be another one of those made-to-look flashy sketchbook tours that don't really convince in terms of technical, artistic ability, but BOY was I wrong! Your art is not only very alive, colorful and full of passion, but your academic skills are very advanced. Top notch sketchbook, you get a sub!
