I did this tutorial and finally works thank you!!! The only change I made is that instead of using noise I uploaded a texture water displacement map for displacement and used the same map on binding > custom > upload same map, with this I can see the texture scale correctly and how it will look in Sketchup.

Good day sir, I just have a question. Is displacement map for that pool strongly recommended? .. Can I use bump map instead of displacement and produce an equal or similar effect? Because to use displacement map is not my top option, because my laptop is a little bit weaker 😂 I always avoid using displacement just to manage the gravity of rendering 😂 .. What do you think? Or, is that displacement using noise map for the pool easier and lighter to render compared to the displacement maps of other materials like bricks? If yes, maybe I can consider using displacement only for this time.

Hi are you using the opacity, the water is not transparent and caustics not working ?

Hi, if you want to move an object use Fredo6 Animator plugin or other plugins like that. But, if you want to move throuth the villa( interior and exterior) sence ,I suggest you Enscape to make animation in the sketchup.😉

Hola, muy buen video amigo, sin embargo, tengo problemas, no me da el efecto del agua como a ti en el minuto 05:12. El brillo del sol sobre el agua no me sale, realizo todos los pasos pero no funciona. Te agradezco si puedes responder.

How can I make the caustics reflect on the wall?!

Well, It depends on the angle of the sun or the light source and also the distance of the wall from the pool. U can use morning or evening sun to have more angle reflection.
