thanks praveen5238. yes, that's hardcore, or as some call it crusher-run, laid to prepare the base before lean concrete is poured.

I learned in 41 secs what i wanted to know.They also put small rocks between footings irregular shape and then machine cut stones 40 sqmm and then concrete on top of it.Is there a complete animation showing the foundation upto moulding and plasting.

Column starter bars placed on top of footing transverse rebar.

Thanks, Alaa. In term of set-up and "animate" the scenes or even output to animation, you don't need no plugin, it can all be done with basic SU commands.

Hi Donald, I am new to google sketch up and was wondering how you drew your reinforcement? I am trying to create a reinforced concrete wall at the moment. Do you know how or where other tutorials are? Thanks L

Lauren Croft Hi L. The rebar in this particular model were done using the native "follow me" tool. You could try a plugin called "lines to tubes", which make creating rebar much easier.
