Looks like almost nobody is reliably getting the car to hook... and some VERY skilled driving in getting the car back under control afterword. These guys are obviously used to driving cars with more power than traction. Good stuff!

Why people risk so much to ice skate down no prep tracks is beyond me.
@gerilynntarvin94026 жыл бұрын
no prep is in the eye of the beholder, they just don't spray race day, many hook better with no same day prep.
@johnnygross44155 жыл бұрын
stooopid with all the o's.. that much money and time invested.

@kroan493 жыл бұрын
@@gerilynntarvin9402 I didn't see one car the hooked up good at all. Everyone feathered their throttle.
@HighlanderNorth13 жыл бұрын
@@kroan49 I watched almost the whole thing, and there was not 1 race where at least 1 car was fishtailing halfway down the track! It was so bad that I spent several minutes looking up info on this track, only to find an earlier Urban Hillbilly video showing the track being resurfaced about 2 years before ^this event(as hard as it may be to believe that this was happening AFTER it was resurfaced)!
@Chris_Harris6 жыл бұрын
Holy Christ, was the "no prep" thing just an attempt to see which car owner was going to hook into the wall? EVERY car had to kill it or die

whats the point in big tires if you cant hook lol. those are some high dollar cars to be risking on a track like that
@tomcollierblognation1363 жыл бұрын
It’s the way to give the little guys a chance minus bracket racing. The most powerful high dollar car doesn’t win in no prep classes most of the time. It’s the ones who put in the most work👍🏾💯

@Tanner-bg2qn6 жыл бұрын
You can’t tell the difference by looking? You can hear most these cars aren’t geared for a 1/4
@SumDood16 жыл бұрын
Ozark Raceway Park is an 1/8th mile track.
@Tanner-bg2qn6 жыл бұрын
frank M. That’s what I was saying dude how did you confuse that for something else? I personally like the 1/8 because if you fuck up chances are you aren’t gonna catch the other car. I’m not really about top speed just how fast they can reach the finish line. That’s what most people run in my area is the eighth street or track

For the life of me, I don't understand why there's no big tire racing here in January & February when the track is covered in snow! I mean damn, they could still get the dangerous fishtailing at over 100mph, but without wearing the tires down as much as they are on the dry track ^here! 😁

Why 1/8th?!! I just dont get it. But there's some serious ass cars here and a ton of spectators so apparently it is enjoyed. To me it just seems way to short. Almost like its over before it even begins (and it seems theres atleast 1 driver here who feels the same way .... 7:08)!

Whats the point with "no prep" racing, no body is hooking. Cars are almost crashing. Whats the point?? just stupid...
@STIRKDAWG6 жыл бұрын
Simulates, more closely, what it's like to get it on in the streets. Kinda stupid, YES but some of these old street warriors are having difficulty admitting to themselves that they have TRACK CARS. Period. There ain't shit "street" about these cars so they keep their attitudes and surface conditions "street".
