#HoangBi #UNDISPUTED #skipbayless FIRST THING FIRST | Nick Wright reacts to Chiefs trade up to draft Xavier Worthy 28th overall

The Bills trading back twice was a smart move considering there's still a ton of great WR's on the board Coleman, Mitchell, Polk, McMillan, Franklin, McConkey all still available. If they want they can grab 2 now with the extra picks they got.
@timocruz510Ай бұрын
Exactly... Bills actually big brained it imo. Chiefs reached on Worthy. I think SF also wanted him
@moderndayjay9109Ай бұрын
Yea except they did all that for one extra pick lol the. You also managed to help strengthen the one team that keeps fucking you in the ass every year smh you can try all you want to defend it….it was bad
@miyasato1Ай бұрын
Coleman would great with someone Allen who throws a lot of 50/50s
@MrGhostface85Ай бұрын
@@miyasato1actually, Allen avoids throwing to those receivers and prefers guys that get separation. It’s why Kelvin Benjamin didn’t work out, but Robert Foster did. Since then, the Bills try to get guys that get separation like Beasley, Brian, and Diggs.

I wanted Leggette as a Chiefs fan but after watching Worthys ball tracking ability, we really have missed it since trading Reek.

Did anyone see Worthy's performance (as a true freshman) in the Texas-Oklahoma game, which everyone called the Caleb Williams coming-out game? He was absolutely amazing, except for one turnover, which he absolutely made up for, the very next play that he was on the field for. This kid is going to be awesome in this Chiefs offense ❤❤

The guy scored a TD in the SB. That's something no Bills draft pick has done for a very long time so comparatively he's still more successful that any Bills pick for years.

@Irie_kАй бұрын
If it’s 11/24 work out even for the first pick, the odds are always against you. That’s just the draft. The 3rd qb has about 1/3 the percentage hit rate of qb1. That seems fine to me

Has the 40 yard dash taught people nothing? Didn’t John Ross run a 4.22? Why is this being treated as some sort of guarantee?
@jaysonjohnson5198Ай бұрын
So do you want to treat it like 4.3 also isn’t blazing fast? And if you wanted to compare his time with John Ross’s time then you should probably point out one got hurt from running those times and one didn’t. It’s ok to start coping now 😂

@tylersetter4943Ай бұрын
People that don't watch CFB and just think he's a speedster are clueless. He's one of the best route runners in the class outside of the top 3. He gets elite separation in a horrible Texas offense with a horrible quarterback. Now he's in one of the best offensive systems with the best qb in the world. Getting hurt is a concern but his ability is not.
@timocruz510Ай бұрын
@@tylersetter4943 He's solid but like John Ross and Ruggs also weren't just speedsters in college either and Ross put up better numbers (albeit with better QB play). It's really just the 4.21 that doesn't mean anything but his tape is solid. Tho I woulda just stayed put at 32 and taken Mitchell... better RZ threat and was actually targeted more downfield than Worthy on the same team. Ngl Bills may get a real good one tn

3:09 lol or maybe Nick, the Bills think Worthy isn't a good pick and are fine with trading down to take their guy AD Mitchell or Coleman... Bills in a vacuum crushed it
@mathewjones888626 күн бұрын
So you'd trust the Bills GM who has taken the team backwards over the last 4 years over the GM wearing 3 rings?
@timocruz51026 күн бұрын
@@mathewjones8886 Didn't know the GM played defence or kicked FGs. That's why I said in a vacuum. Also Brett Veach took CEH over Johnny T so not like he hasn't had his misses. Look at the track record of any player who ever ran sub 4.3 in the combine, they're basically all trash lol
@mathewjones888626 күн бұрын
@@timocruz510 I didn't say every pick hits, I merely pointed out that when it comes to building winning teams Veach has a much better record than Beane and therefore I'd trust his opinion with Andy Reid far more than a GM who has sent his team backwards over recent years. GM's don't play defence or kick field goals but they are solely responsible for hiring the players who do so your point makes no sense at all.
@timocruz51026 күн бұрын
@@mathewjones8886 Sure, I merely think trading up for Worthy may have been a mistake. Only time will tell. And sure the GM picks the players, but hard to blame the GM when players play well enough to win until the tightest moments and shit the bed, that's on the players imo. They obviously proved to be well enough for the first 55 minutes of the game. If players choke away 2 playoff games, one in historic fashion, not really gonna blame the GM all that much... Also, Bills injuries on defence were insane last year
@mathewjones888625 күн бұрын
@@timocruz510 Bills fans have excuses every single year. The GM picks players based on more than just ability and when they lose 4 years in a row then you have to question his choices. When you lose in successive seasons at home then either the players aren't up to the job or you're not really contenders. When Buffalo clinched the division all we heard was how this was going to be the year they beat KC cos the Chiefs didn't have homefield advantage. The QB and HC had a final drive to kill the game and both got it spectacularly wrong. When that consistently happens then at least one of them isn't up to the job.
