Nick tries so casually to cement the idea of "LeBron is GOAT" into every argument, and I appreciate Brou for basically calling him out to say, "no, he hasn't accomplished everything, because he hasn't passed Jordan." Then you see how anxious Nick gets, leaning over the table and barely able to contain himself because he knows IT'S TRUE. You've tried really hard, Nick, but you haven't convinced the masses and LeBron knows it. Otherwise he would've stopped by now.

Chris hit the nail on the head. LeBron is still "chasing that ghost in chicago". He knows nothing will bring him closer in the debate unless he wins one more ring AND is the bus driver not rider, which he's kind of become behind AD. Otherwise there's no reason to play other than money. 3.5 rings in 21 seasons with stacked teams and favorable commissioner and refs and he's still behind Jordan in almost all metrics except for longevity stats. If he leaves, he's chasing MJ. If he stays, he's playing for money and to play with his son.
@CJStew06
@CJStew06 Ай бұрын
Exactly right-Nick appears so frustrated and anxious by Brou stating that obvious truth. LeBron would've retired by now if he felt he had done enough, he knows he hasn't.

Check his stats . Bus rider? Lmao 3.5 rings? I didn’t know they did halves ? Ain’t nobody worried bout Jordan. In today’s league he’s a role player. No reason to play? Maybe he just loves the game. Be glad lebron wasn’t playing when mj did . Jordan wouldn’t have any rings.

So now he’s calling himself “the King”?? Remember after last season’s sweep 🧹 he was “the sun” 🌞?? All this AND he walks off the court and won’t shake anyone’s hand? I think I’m starting to see why people don’t like him! He’s a first class jerk!

Bru needs to stop with the "chasing Jordan" crap. LBJ has made his mark, and it appears he sought to attain goals, break records & set new ones, doing things others have not. Many players have had six championships but there are feats LBJ has accomplished that no other player has.

Not many players have won 6 championships in the modern era. Yes, you can say someone like Robert Horry has 7. But there’s not a player since Russell’s Celtics that was the primary engine for 6 championships. The only MVPs to have 6 rings since 1970 are Kareem & Jordan. And Kareem’s last 2 he was the 3rd option behind Magic & Worthy.

@@1212CSmith The post aba/nba merger is considered by many as the beginning of the modern era not only because two rivals merged, but because 4 more teams were added to the league & a lot of great players were now in the league. You also didn’t have playoff byes & another playoff round was added. So, I won’t say “ERA” but Jordan is the greatest winner in the last 55 years of the league.

Lebron has missed the playoffs twice with the Lakers. 2018-2019, That’s when he activated playoff mode. Then again 2021-2022. Way to lie there.

LBJ is trying to prove he is still the box-office in the NBA when he is not. It really should be the Joker, but he got so many hatas ATM, its not funny. And if rumors are true, he is trying to hold LA hostage by saying if they don't draft his son, he will walk.. I'll be like "Bye".. The only thing he brought is a bubble championship and some silly tournament the NBA had to reason to do. The Lakers have been rarely 1st round contenders with him, let alone the play in. Nah Lakers need to cut ties, create a team for the future, that includes trading Mr Glass Anthony Davis as well. He is Robin, who is always whining he wants to be Batman, but he can't even get the courage to put on the suit to be NightWing. Thats how bad he suxs.

LeBron can't get ahead and stay ahead of Jordan because MJ won 6 Championships and 6 Finals MVPs in a span of 15 years in the NBA. LeBron has 4 Championships and 4 Finals MVPs in 21 seasons. Mathematically he can't catch him. Also, 10 Scoring Titles for MJ and just one single Scoring Title for LeBron. It's difficult to believe that the player who leads the entire NBA with the Record of 40, 000+ pts won the Scoring Title Award just once. Nice dunk by Canadian Jamal Murray on LeBron!
