Skidoo includes paper templates with the Linq brackets. You cut out the templates and place them on along the curved aluminum edges running down the tunnel. I've used them twice now - they work great. Just a note on your measurements, the lateral distance between coresponding bolt centers is actually more like 11 1/8", (not 10 3/4"). This is actually quite important when you are trying to use larger LinQ accessories that require 2 sets of LinQ connectors - if they aren't spaced the correct distance apart (front to back), then your new cargo box won't fit. I would tend to trust any factory holes, but it can't hurt check them out against a known set. My 2015 had factory predrilled holes, they are 11 1/8" apart from each other (front to back). These holes were the correct spacing for the 40l cargo box I just bought . ( If you don't have factory holes, then use the templates that come with the connectors. If you don't have templates, measure carefully! I'm in the process of building a custom cargo rack to go on my 09 Summit. I'm making it so that it will fit any machine with 2 sets of LinQ attachments . I'm also gonna take a stab at converting an old Skidoo fuel caddy so that it attaches to 1 set of LinQ brackets - we'll see how that goes . Just one more note... the rear LinQ brackets on my 2015 Renegade 600 , 137" track, are too close to the back tail light, i. e.; neither my fuel caddy, nor my 19l tunnel bag can be used in the rear position . I noticed someone else had the same problem... apparently the solution is to get some type of adapter plate for the tunnel bag to raise it enough to clear the tail light - kind of a pain in the butt.... anyway, hope this info helps someone .

Why not use the factory pre punched markings to mount the brackets. They've done all the measuring for us:) just saying.
