Ski Nautique sank

2021 Big Lake wind storm sank my 1985 Ski Nautique. I was out of the area and it was underwater for 3 days. This video shows what I did to get it running again!! Subscribe to The Alaska corner! More videos to come.

Pretty sure I live right across the cove from you. Over by the tower.. As a former tournament boat owner myself, my heart sunk a bit when I saw your Nautique. Kind of puzzled as to how it sunk on a shore station but you did a great job getting it ironed out.

Hey Neighbor, I had a 3000 lb boat on a 3500 lb lift, so i had the plug out so water from rain did'nt weight it down... Also bad on me but did'nt have a pin in the latch.. I think the wind storm banged the shorestation so hard it lowered it without the plug...

@@thealaskacorner9841 Ah that explains it. We live and we learn. Once again, great job on getting her back in shape. If you haven't already, be sure to inspect the hull and especially the shaft from the drive through the stuffing tube in the hull in case it was damaged somehow on the shore station.
