Did you go dominant foot on the drop ski or on the skat!? We're trying to get up...and struggling! I ski right foot forward

I ski left foot forward so I put that foot in the front of the skat and the drop ski on the right. Opposite of what I would do if I dropped a ski for slalom. I figured it would be harder to drop and get my foot in the front of the skat than the back. Good luck out there and let me know how it goes!
