Ski day at Kleine Scheidegg. I visit the Grindelwald V-Bahn & Eigergletscher as well. Not all runs were skiable do to low snow conditions.

@Walton… I am glad you liked the video. What is it you are looking for? I hope you look at my Mürren vlog and other videos on my channel. Mürren has more challenging terrain… the scenery is jaw dropping. Grindelwald (in my opinion) is alright

@@alainbrouillaud484 I’m going to check out your vlog right now! I’m going to be staying in Grindelwald - do you know that I can access the murren slope from the top? I need to ski that 007 run! How were the snow/ski conditions? I’ve read somewhere that it’s been a warmer season! I’m so pumped!

@@waltonrespiratory5667… Getting from Grindelwald to Mürren is possible. You have two options… a) Take the V-Bahn up to Eigergletscher -> ski down to Wengen -> take the train to Lauterbrunnen -> take Mürrenbahn tram to Grutschalp -> train to Winteregg START SKIING 😀⛷ b) Take train from Grindewald to Lauterbrunnen -> do all the stuff I mentioned before. In regards to skiing #10 from the top at Piz Gloria, you are going down a 75% incline. I suggest you look at my videos and you’ll get an idea. Snow is better at Mürren/Schilthorn because it is higher. Piz Gloria is at 2970m. The upper mountain is always in good shape. Due to the lack of snowfall this year the lower mountain is sketchy. All areas due an adequate job preparing the pistes… they have had the work cut out for them this year

@@waltonrespiratory5667… Matt… you need to take the V-Bahn to Eigergletscher first thing (8am). Ski from Eigergletscher (Kleine Scheidegg) to Wengen. You will take the train from Wengen to Lauterbrunnen, then you transfer to the Mürrenbahn to Grutschalp. A train will take you to Winteregg, there you get on the chairlift and start skiing. I kindly suggest you look at my Mürren vlog. You will see how to ascend and ski to the Schilthornbahn station. You will take the Schilthornbahn to Birg, transfer to the second leg of the tram to the Piz Gloria and Bond World. A steep run awaits you when you click on your skis. NOTE: Piste #10 is never groomed after a big snowfall! 84 to 99 skis should be good most of the time. The Jungfrau Region has many free ride opportunities, you better have good off-piste insurance should ski patrol have to come get you. Avalanches are more likely to happen in Europe… it is a good idea to have a beacon and shovel if you go off-piste. I suggest getting a guide, it will be money well spent.

Hi, i'm going to Grindelwald in January, and I have a few questions I'll be glad if u could answer: 1. Is the snow better in January than in February in Kleine Scheidegg? 2. What is the best way to go up to Kleine Scheidegg, do i have to go to Top of Europe and then ski down to Kleine Scheidegg? 3. how do i go there? with a train (i heard it's very slow and takes time) or ski lift? And which ski lift? I will be staying at Hotel Caprice which is 100 meters from Grindelwald - Grund - Kleine Scheideggbahn Cog Train 4. Should I rent equipement online before I get there? Or will there be enough equipment to rent in the town center or in Kleine Schneidegg to rent on the spot? 5. When I ski down, do I have to take a train all the way up again and again? Or I take ski lifts to specific runs that I want to do? 6. What is the best place for a first time beginner (my friend) to stay in to learn the basics? Should he be in Kleine Scheidegg or go somewhere else? 7. When do the trains to go to Interlaken or come from Interlaken usually close? Thank you I'm sorry for bothering !

Hi 😊 Did you watch the full video? Getting to Kleine Scheidegg is easy… simply take the “Eiger Gondola” from the Grindelwald Terminal. The Gondola will take you to the “Top Of Europe” connection. You can start your skiing once you get off the Gondola. January or February should be fine as far as snow conditions. Concerning rentals better to get your stuff once you are there. You have many choices… you can go up to Mannlichen from Grindelwald terminal as well. Of course you can go ski Grindelwald by going to the “FIRST GONDOLA”. You can also ski to WENGEN from Kleine Scheidegg by skiing the famous “Lauberhorn” run… once you are familiar with the piste map you will be able to navigate your way there.

@@alainbrouillaud484 Ohhhhhh I understand !!! So from the terminal I should be able to go to all places. One more question: I plan to go skydiving in interlaken, do u think it’s possible to go skydiving there and get back to Grindelwald before the trains close?
