Idk if the market smiling man was ever a story, but a decade-ish back, there was a story floating around the internet called “The Smiling Man.” Lots of horror story narrators, like Corpse Husband, Blue_Spooks or something, and animated horror stories used that story. It must’ve been a 4chan or Reddit story floating around, but it was highly popular. It always scared me a bunch, but I remember watching the animated version, and boy did it freak me out. The way he dances, his bloodshot eyes and smile. Jus, damn. I recognized the park walk game you played, but perhaps there were more stories of him.
