I like that Kurt Cobain mindset. Simplicity can be beautiful too. Not about how technical you are, but how well-composed it is. Shredding in D Phrygian shouldn’t be glorified as the “proper way” to play guitar, as the snobs say😒

There's a ton fret burning mentionables from over the decades, but I've always told my guitar friends these guys have some of the most beautiful solos from that era. They were just bang on! The rich try to tell everyone hey look at me look what I can do They were just telling part of the story when the singer took a break from telling a story. It was continuation..

Beautiful. One of the few songs I can still play but not nearly as clean as that. Maybe some day you will do Monkey Business. I get lost playing that as the song picks up where Sab sings “slim intoxicado drinking dime store hooch is always Ian a circle with his part time pooch” ( or however the lyrics go lol)

I gotta say awesome dude! Have to ask about the pickup in the guitar? I actually have that guitar and bought the green Titanium parts for it and brass big block for the trem, really brought the guitar up a notch, one of my favorites in my collection! That guitar for only having 1 pickup is actually super versatile, it's how you set the tone knob and where you pick on it can vary the sound so much! I have zero complaints about it, amazing neck and frets. Definitely more Skid Row please, and maybe Dangerous Toys, Pride and Glory etc. You get the idea lol
